That makes no sense. He can make a verbal assault on the legitimacy of the occupation of Iraq no matter where he is tried- the UN, Iraq, the States, Zambia... no difference at all.

Your suggestion was that he could make a legal assault on the pccupation in the International Court. He could not.

This war was about how dangerous and how powerful Saddam was. The way saddam was captured just tells you how well equipped he was. He hid in a hole digged underground in the front yard of a farmhouse in the Iraqi country on his own.

Also let me point out that his capture works out nicely for Bushy's next election doesent it. You'd think that the us government always knew where he was and waited for the right moment to boost up the election by breaking the attacks that the other parties have targetted at the bush government.

Dont you americans forget that he is a president just like Bush. Imagine if the Iraqis showed Bush on International TV with a long beard and long hair attending a medical check. He would be in the exact same position as Saddam. So he and the members of his government (Bremer) shouldnt call him a tyrant and a use phrases like "The dictator is brought down" or crap like that. You complained about your military soldiers being shown on TV was a breach of the Geneva Convention.

Either way, Saddam who looked like Father Christmas managed to give Bush his best christmas present: his own capture.

Politics leading to fights is why I haven't posted in here yet; I have strong political views, but I don't want to piss off people and start a fight. However, I am glad that they finally did catch Saddam. But I'm not saying anything more on the topic.

Did anybody see the David Lettermen Episode with the Top 10 things left on the White House answering machine? One of them was "YPu caught Saddam yet" Well, we got him!!! Abother one was about Osama. We still don't have him, but sonner or later, we'll get him too.

What is there to discuss? Saddam was captured, isn't that a good thing? It's not like they are going to execute him, they're just going to keep him locked away.
