Oscars can ki$$ a$$!.....but not mine! Yuck! What a whole lot of political blah blah! They just won't nominate it because Revolutions deals with themes most ppl r even afraid to address in public!

well, i haven't been around in a while, but i'm back, only to find that matrix hasn't been nominated for the oscar

i wonder though, how could it not be nominated if the nominations haven't been announced yet?.. have i miss something

and if those are the nominated films (7?, i thought they only nominate 4)
how can hulk be there?

M2 and M3 may not been the best movies ever made, but the FX do deserve some recognition... it's not fair...

WHY Revolutions is not nominated is a mystery. No one seems to know...

The special effects in Revolutions, in my mind, blew away every move i have seen in the past five years, it was so amazing. And yet, those ******** in Hollywood won't nominate it...WHY?!?! What is so wrong with it? I say we BURN THEM!!! who's with me? *crowd yells out Burn them!! Burn!!!*

Sorry - The FX were far superior in Lord of the Rings. But that's my opinion and they certainly look more realistic in LOTR 🙂

sifer i agreeee that the fx of rotk r very good but we r arguing that matrix revos atleast deservd a mention but its a mystery why it did not.
and personally i feel that matrix has the best fx in the movie business than any other movie even rotk.........

and this is totally subjective as it is said "beauty lies in the eye of the beholder"..........

The original Matrix deserved a lot of recognition at the oscars, its two sequels dont.

Hulk is there because the Special FX used to create the Hulk are bloody impressive. Although, still not as good as Gollum 🙂

i don't see anything impressive in those FX, all i see is a mix of CGI.

it would have fix nicely, if the whole movie were CG

gollum is alive compared to hulk, hulk looks like a cartoon, and i know some ppl would say that it was make intentionally, so that it looks like the comic, but it is suppose to be a life action movie

there is no point thinking about why matrix didnt get nominations. I believe the reason revolutions was not nominated because the committee could not find anything special 🙂 in the effects. they might have thought there is no S effects in the movie. All the sentinel, robos etc might be real 🙂 . This only proves that the SFX of the movie was mind blowing. Damn the oscars. all committee members are dumb. LOTR has good sfx but see closely did ever find any of the mistake in the man machine war? atlest in ROTK i could see the 3D army and when all together ride over the orcs one can see 3D animation. that was not the case with M3. it has so superior image layering that the 3D machines looked soo stunningly real. I dont blame the oscar jury coz they believed it was all real and that there is no sfx . LoL 🙂 🙂
