Under the Sea...

(( u totally skipped over Ewan and Lila's date! 😆 ))

((The king ultimatly gets his way... even if he means not to... 😖hifty: ))

"Lila? R U okay?"

(( fine, the date will be another night.. but only because it's 4 am and I have nothing else to do other then hang out on the KMC boards.. I hope you don't mind Darth. ))

Lila pulled open the door. She then swam back to her closet. "I have nothing to wear." She said as she tossed about some shirts she brought from hom earlier.

"The iv'e got an early present for you Lila." He handed her an elgenat ruby red dress.

She took it and held it up. "It's beautiful! And it's my favorite color!" She held it up to herself and looked in the mirror. She then quickly swam over to him and kissed his cheek. "Thank you so much!"

" I must return to the guests, Lila. Ill see you in a little bit then?"

She nodded. "Thank you so much, King Thay." As soon as he swam out she removed her shirt and put on the dress. She admired it in the mirror. She then sat down to do her hair and make up.

King Thay swam down the hallways and to the courtyard.. There was literally thousands of guesat out there. This was going to be a fun night.

Lila put her hair up and added her usual sparkles. She then put on her make up. She slowly opened the door to her room and heard the music and chatter of the guests. She slowly swam down the hallway and stopped in the entrance to the party. There were so many people! Everything was decorated in one way or another. She felt nervous.

"don't be nervous," said King Roogna emphatically. One of the guests lloked up and saw them together. "Its the birthday-Girl"

She blushed and swam along King Thay's side. Everything seemed to glitter.

Thay swam up to the highest point in the chambe. "Good people of the kingdom! We are here to honor Lila [insert last name here] on her birthday. Tonight, we will enjoy this party. Enjoy the feast and the cake. Any questions!?

"Where is the queen!?" one fo the guests yelled out. "The wedding is off! We cannot find my ex-fiancee." The crowd of guests chattered incessantly. "Why!!!???" one fo them asked. The king was trapped. HE shooudl have seen this coming

Lila glanced up at the king, seeing his nervous expression. "Please, mermen and mermaids of the kingdom. Let us focus on the theme of the party. I would like to thank you all for coming, it is an great honor to see all of you here. I wish to get to know each and every one of you tonight." She hoped this would silence their questions.

It didn't. Instead they put two and two together.

They began to chatter again, about what was going on.

"SILENCE!" this is a day to honor Lila! not to gossip about what is going on with me and her!" This shut up the crowd.

Lila swam back a little and looked down embarrassed. The music began again, filling the silence.

The crowd began to chat again, but Thay knew they would avoid the issue of Lila and Thay until they went home

"Well its out now Lila."

She wanted to say it wasn't official, but she didn't. She swam back up to his side. "I've never been to a party like this before." She admited. "What do we do?"

"What di u want to say?" He decided to answer her question later.
