Here's one that came out of nowhere, and might be nothing, but who knows. A scooper sent us a scan of a call sheet that was apparently used for the August 15th shoot on Batman Begins in Chicago. We've cropped it to where it doesn't show the production's "personal" info, and while the info on what was shot is cool, the most interesting bit comes in the Cast list which includes a certain T. Welling as Kent...
While it doesn't says specically "Tom" (who else could it be?), could Tom - who stars as Clark Kent in The WB's Smallville - really have a cameo role in the film? Maybe this is what he was meeting with Warner Bros. about instead of the Superman movie? Is this a real Call Sheet or a fake? If it's a fake, it's one of the best fakes we've ever seen!

Huh? where in my post did I call you stupid? Please,dont put words in my mouth. I never called you stupid,however it is irritating to me when people defend the shortcomings and failures of that film by not getting the facts straight about Stan that are not true that I wish people would get the facts straight first before making untrue statements about stan.Next time in the future,it would be a good idea to not listen to Beacon of Grace try to apologize for the shortcomings of the film by listening to his untrue statements he makes.

Thanks for that interesting rumor, film! 😎 Hmm...now that you mention that, did Bruce Wayne/Batman ever meet Clark Kent/Superman during his first few years as his alter ego, Batman? Sorry, I have never read the comics, but I used to watch the animated series. One more thing about that rumor, I'll go check that article out at SHH and see what they say there, then I'll try to getting around to posting some movie news.

Movie Magic in Chicago
(Saturday/August 21, 2004) 'Gotham City Vice' has another great update on Batman Begins from Chicago...
I actually work right across the street from last night's filming. Last night they shot a cool 10 second scene where the Batmobile was being chased thru a parking garage, helicopter overhead. If you guys remember that was by Washington, well I work south of there by lasalle and jackson. On quincy I actually saw movie magic. The movie guys built the whole front part of the garage complete with entrance, marble, surveillence cameras, ticket booth, bums, you name it, it is so cool to see how fast they build it, and as I'm writing this they are taking it down. Here are some cool pics I got for those Batman Begins fans!!

(Thursday/August 19,2004) Just when we thought the Batman Begins set reports had ended, here comes 'The Rocket'...
Greetings from Waukegan.... Last night they were filming Batman again in Waukegan. I'm not sure if anyone else has reported it on your site, but the entrance to the Batcave is here, just north of the Amstutz. The pic I included you can see a tiny guy in orange walking back to where they were filming. I also included a picture of a flatbed with a closeup of some spare Batmobile parts.
We've added a little red arrow so you can see where the orange guy is in the pics... Images

(Tuesday/August 17,2004) FMFE has posted another clip from the Batman Begins set...
FMFE just posted our second clip from the Batman Begins set in Waukegan. This may be the best set footage on the web right now! 2.5 minutes of the Batmobile and Gotham's finest speeding down the Amstutz in all of their glory. Unless someone else comes up with a better clip, this may be the only time we get to see this until Warner Bros release something official.

'Mauricio' was cool enough to take some snapshots for us of the before-mentioned Batman billboard. As you can see, it is definitely not the new Bat-logo as featured on the Batman Begins official website, so we're thinking this is promoting something else.
Could it be for the Kids' WB!'s animated The Batman series premiering on Saturday, September 11th instead? Even that logo (see the Flash intro and Batman's chest) is slightly different. The below logo is more like the ones used for the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher films.
UPDATE: 'Kornblow' has the answer...
In response to the logos in Vegas. Actually all next week is Magic, the industry show for licensed clothing for the up coming year. Batman is going to have a heavy push from Warners. They are using the logos as promo pieces as they are about to push heavy again on the bat for the next year. Thats what the promos are for.

filmprophet: I don't bother to post articles about the new animated series nor some of the boring set reports for Batman Begins. I just pick the ones that are most interesting and center on the movie. Also, I don't like the way that the new batman cartoon is drawn! It looks so horrible!
