'Rev. O.J. Flow' alerted us that the Batman Begins Batmobile is featured in Rolling Stone magazine:

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the current issue of Rolling Stone magazine has a one-page feature on the Batmobile. The issue, with John Kerry on the cover, has a special "Cars" section on all things automotive, and RS has a really nice write-up on the wheels to be seen in Batman Begins.

'Daniel' pointed us to Action-Figure.com where they talk about Batman Begins Minimates that are coming soon. For descriptions of each, just click the link.

Also, 'calicojack' tells us the film's executive producer Michael Uslan spoke at BSU today and briefly mentioned the franchise:

Mr. Ulsan talked about his career and the process leading up to making the first Batman movie. He talked about how he started the countries first college class pertaining to comic books at Indiana University Bloomington, going to law school as a fall back to making a Batman movie and how every studio turned him down. The process for making the movie after getting the greenlight took about 10 years. Unfortunately he did not get into anything new for the next movie.

Liam Neeson on Batman Begins

ComingSoon.net has posted a new interview with "Kinsey" star Liam Neeson in which he briefly mentions playing Wayne's mentor, Henri Ducard, in Batman Begins:

A little over a month later, Neeson appears in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated Batman Begins, playing Ducard, a mentor to Bruce Wayne. "I teach him a few skills," he said with a sly smile, not wanting to give too much away. This won't be Neeson's first encounter with superhero films, having starred in Sam Raimi's first superhero movie Darkman. Neeson wasn't too surprised by the success of the director's Spider-Man movie, because he thought that Darkman was almost a "shot for shot" template for it.

sounds cool.

yeah

Batman was such a part of my life as a teenager, what with the movies and animated series going on at the time. I am pleased that he will be coming back in this new adventure, and think it will be fun.

I agree.

Anything has to be better than 1997's entry in the franchise. That was an insult to Batman fans everywhere.

heres a link to new wallpaper on the net:

Christian Bale on Batman Begins

The Chicago Sun-Times has published a new interview with Christian Bale talking about the Chicago shoot, the character, and movie. Here's a clip:

His Batman kicks butt. "I've never felt like the Batman character in the films was given as much time as any of the villains. The villains were always the most interesting characters, too. Batman has always been this very bizarre, almost blind character running through the middle of the story," Bale says. "Our film is different." Ask him about his Batman and he laughs. "Talk about an American psycho. The guy is running around in a cape."

He will give up a few more on-set secrets. "Our Batman is centered on the early days. It's an explanation. It's certainly not Batman No. 5," he promises. "It's a reinvention. We want you to forget there has ever been a Batman before this one."

'Gustavo' pointed us to the Visual Imagination website which has up an interview with Christian Bale about Batman Begins. Here's an interesting clip on the film's story:

Reading the comics, I've always felt that Batman was a very interesting character – at least as interesting as the villains – and I think this film gets back to that. This is an origin story, not a sequel, and the theme of the story is one of realism. We know that Batman doesn't have superhuman powers, but you'll see it in this film, and we find out how the Bat Cave works, where Batman gets his weapons and how the Batmobile really works. The biggest thing is that Batman's the most interesting character in the film.
