I kinda doubt this film will do near as well as batman 89 unfortunately-which really hacks me off because this batman film looks like it could erase that horrible batman franchise and make up for all those horrible films, the reason I dont think it will do as well box office wise is because with batman 89,it had hype going on for it for a year, they started with advertisements about the movie the previous summer with posters everywhere, same with the spiderman films, thats why they have mainly done so well at the box office is not just because of the popularity of the characters, but also because they had a good marketing department with year long promotions. Here it is december and other than websites, you dont see any advertising going on for that movie.that was also a major reason for catwoman bombing was it was horrible promoted.the marketing department for this movie needs to get on the ball with their promotions. that poster should have been displayed in movie theaters way back at least in august, thats what batman 89 did.

yeah The Hulk got promoted okay but it wanst anywhere nearly marketed though like the spiderman films and batman 89 though.the best marketing it got was with the superbowl commercials.
Did you forget the soda commercials, costumes, those hulks hands that stores still can't get rid of, the teaser trailer one year before it was released, and the marketing it had with all those foods?
In my oppinion it was just a step or two right under the first Spider-Man's marketing.
Even for some films, marketing can't save them. 😉

oh okay, yeah I remember that. The trailers looked pretty bad so I think that had a lot to do with its failure as well.Plus there just is no other for the role other than Bill Bixby.Eric Bana's acting doesnt come anywhere close to the great performances that Bixby gave.He always made you sympathise for him and care about him, something Bana failed at.

I agree Bixby was great and Lou was also great. They both made you feel for their individual characters.
Although I think Connely's performance was alot worse, Nolte and his character should have never been there, and the script was pretty bad. In the end I don't really think Bana was ever to blame.
