which leaves you with the following: One more skillpoint for magic which needs to be spent
your skillpoint are allocated like this:
weapon skills: One-Handed Edged weapons
General skills: Ride and Track
Magic skills: 3 on spell offence, 1 on direct spell, 1 spare (either on runes or item)
most of what you did was correct (this just makes it clearer)
if I were you I'd convert my two general points and convert them into one magic point
1. Stats. These tell me what your character is naturally good and bad at, physically and mentally, before any other consideration.
Well, she's naturally good at working with others, and can't last for long times by herself. As an Animist, with close relationships with animals, she is very wary of hurting or killing them, so must therefore barter for food when she is buy herself. Like all Elves, she is a good shot with a bow, but she finds it difficult to adapt to Men's bows after using Elven bws all her life.
She prefers staff fighting to sword fighting, and her favourite weapon is the Elvish staff with blades at the end ((no idea if it has a proper name!)). The blades are detachable, so she can practice without risking hurting anyone.
Mentally... err... well, as an Animist, she's better with animals than plants. Her only thing with plants is that she knows the ones for Healing.
She is NOT an accomplished Healer. She knows the basics, eg poultices, herb-lore, which are poisonous.
2. Profession. This tells me what area your character has chosen to become good at. Whilst there is plenty of room in Middle-Earth for carpenters and farriers, this all rather assumes you will be wanting to be some sort of warrior or tracker or some other more active vocation. This will affect your stats and skills.
Errm... I don't know if she has a PROPER profession...
She's a Wanderer, wanting to see everything. She's about 200 years old, so has become almost bored with some of the Elvish lands, and wants to see the rest of Middle-Earth.
I guess she's good with horses, well, because ELF! Knows the barest minimum of weapons - just knows how to keep them in good stead.
