Sirius will seriously, definitely be BACK!

No, Surius is not coming back. In book four, Dumbledore said that when harrys wand attached his with voldemort, the spells that where done reversed themselves. But dumbledore said the dead cannot come back

yeah but we are not sure if he is actually dead so there is the posibility

You should remember about what Dumbledore said in the past:

- You think the dead we have loved ever truly leave us?
- No spell can reawaken the dead.
- There are worse things than death.

Actually, I want Sirius to come back.

well, i do agree that no spell can awaken the dead...like you said, Dumbledore said it.....but on the other hand I agree w/ hhhhhr, I don't think Sirius is acutally dead, no one has convinced me that he can't come back, so I'm still holding on to the posibility.

I'm new to all this stuf, and I haven't read through all the pages of this topic of discussion, but I just thought I'd mention that I don't believe the mirror that sirius gave to harry has anything to do with his possible 'coming back', because Harry broke the mirror when he found it, coz he threw it back into his trunk once h realised that sirius wasn't going to answer him.
Secondly, I think whether sirius comes back or not will be fortold as soon as the new title of the 6th book is announced. There are two fairly serious rumours flying around, the First being "Harry Potter and the Green Glame Torch" and "Harry Potter and the Veil somthing or other"...
If the title is about the veil, it would have to be more likely that Sirius had a chance of coming back? But if it's this green flame torch thingy, and no magic can "raise the dead" then he may return still, but through some other alleyway. It seems that people are stuck on this idea of the veil... I'm not all that persuaded that the veil has much more to do with the story line.
I think the veil is more along the lines of a gateway into the 'land of the dead' which is why Harry and Luna could hear ppl behind the veil, becuase they knew people who had died in the past, and that was who they were hearing. I can't remember if nevil heard anything, but that would explain why herm, ron and ginny couldn't hear anything, because as with the thestrals, they hadn't seen or known anyone close to them that had died... therefore they had no one to listen for.
Just some thoughts, I'll check up though!!

I think Sirius will come back not so much because of what Nick or Luna said but because even though nobody can bring people back from the dead (or they probably would have done that at least once) but maybe Harry can since Harry might have the power to kill Voldemort, maybe Harry can have the power to bring him back.

ok you might not have had a chance to read through so this is where we got very intrested in the veil stuff http://harmony.portkey.org/theories/veilmystery.php look it up

Just wanted to add to Assilem's thoughts..

Trelawney once said something like "..not even the most learned wizards can read the VEILED MYSTERIES OF THE FUTURE.." - prompting some to form a theory, taking it as a suggestion, that the veil could also be a time portal - which means that Sirius was taken to another dimension of time, rather than place or land of the dead.

It is also very possible that Sirius will not return in book 6, but in book 7. There was a theory on this involving Trelawney again - reading Harry's tea leaves in book 3 & seeing the following images:

1st - the falcon - a deadly enemy -> refers to book 4 (Voldemort's return)
2nd - the club - an attack -> referring to book 5 (dementors in Privet Drive)
3rd - the skull - danger in your path -> referring to book 6 (Death Eaters?)
and 4th - the Grim - death omen -> referring to book 7 (Sirius' return!)

Trelawney may not be taken seriously by others, but if you take careful note of her predictions since book 3, I'd say she has a batting average of 80% - which is still good in my book *shrug*

i think he may well be stuck in another dimention as you said bcoz bella didnt kill him he wasnt dead coz of her i.he may have just been trancported else where

hey, joy2dworld, you have ALWAYS good pointz in this discussion...
oh i BNELIEVE in trewlawnys things, and i think soon harry'll reallize that what she said was true...
do you remember the prediction bout voldys servant and he'll help him to become as strong as he was before...
it was all true...
iand the prophercy is true, so it have to be an inner eye...
oh and yeah oif course the tea leaves!

ummm ok i read the 5th book twice and i couldn't find the part where it said they picked up Sirius's body and plus what about that last vision had with Voldemort torturing sirius and all. That wasn't mention the 5th book...u dig? Oh well i just have a feeling that it was too soon for him to die because he hasn't done much in the 3,4, and 5 book. I don't know but like headless nick said wizards can come back if they want to... =) the biggest hint though that he will be back is the fact that they didnt mention anything about his body. I just think he was hit with a curse that lasts a long time that's it. Blah blah

i'm with ya on the dead body thing....until they carry it away, i'm still a believer in his return

I believe in Sirius' return as well. But sometimes I don't know if I believe or I wanna believe. Because I can't accept Sirius' disappearance. The "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is one of the five greatest books in the whole wide world (guess what's the four other! 🙂), but you know...I love reading this book, but I don't wanna go on when I turn a page to read chapter thirty-five and I see "Beyond the Veil". I just don't wanna finish the book, because I know if I have to read Sirius' disappearance again, I will be depressed for three weeks.
But I do it over and over again.

Okay, Dumbledore said some things in the past and Luna did it as well.
I can't really understand what she means when she says she will meet her mum again. Does she mean that her mum certainly be back? Or that one day Luna will die and see her mum again in heaven?

I have so many questions about the disappearance. I have ideas about the solution.
- Why didn't they go back in time with a Time-Turner and saved Sirius?
- The second time when Harry went into the fire to talk to Sirius about James, Harry says that Snape won't give him Occlumency lessons anymore. Then Lupin says he will talk to Snape. But nothing happens. We can be sure that Lupin talked to Snape. (Should we suppose he didn't?)

And what really makes me angry is that why doesn't everybody sad? Okay, we are told that Lupin is quiet and we can imagine (Can we?) how hard is his life. He lost all his friends. And what about the others?

And that's what I've been thinking about. Why has Lupin never had a look at Harry? He is the son of one of his best friends. Some say that he doesn't wanna let anybody to get close to him for his a werewolf and he doesn't wanna hurt people.

Sorry about the length and the incorrect English.

I think that Sirius will end up playing an important part, but I'm not sure what exactly...

As much as I hate to say this I think sirius is dead for good. I really hated it when he died in the last book!!!

I agree totally with you

I also agree! espeically w/ the part about not wanting to read "Beyond the Veil" I was rereading the book one day, and I knew I was getting to the part where he was gunna die, so I closed the book and walked away....I just could n't do it! But I opened it again later....wishing that he wouldn't die this time 😉 but of course he did.

I think I'm in denial about him dieing...

Well.. mayb wen/if they kill voldemort everyone that was killed by him or by his supporters because of him will rise again.. not necessarily as humans but as spirits.. i dont no but i still think Sirius at least will come back... although i wish cedric would as well.. that wuld b quite a good end to the series.. if sirius (in any form)came bac and harry got to see or speak to his mum nd dad even if they are spirirts... nd even if he onli spoke to them briefly.. it wuld be more than he spoke to them now... yes i've decided thats how i want it to end... hehe 😄

love u sirius..!!!!!
