Context also matters. Sasuke entered the fight with roughly half of his chakra depleted due to his earlier battle with Gaara, where he had the upper hand. Naruto was at full strength, and once Gaara created a Shukaku construct, he relied entirely on a major Summon that he did not bother to use again until his fight with Pain. Thus I think Chuunin Exam Finals Sasuke would tool Chuunin Exam Finals Naruto due to his vastly superior speed/taijutsu and the Chidori.

With all that said, there's a reason Naruto was extremely motivated to learn the Rasengan. He knew he couldn't match Sasuke's Chidori. Even plot-wise, Sasuke was stronger at that point. Rasengan closed that gap to the point where they were near-equals, and it remained that way until Sasuke accepted & advanced his CS.

No-one ever considers Karin as a candidate for strongest non-adult kunoichi.

How did Sasuke beat Gaara? He was going to die. Naruto saved him. Whether or not he has a demon inside of him or not is irrelevant. the fact is he didn't beat Gaara, barely injured him, and then had to be saved by Naruto. At that point, Naruto>Sasuke. Sasuke retook the lead after training with Orochimoru, but Naruto's Sage mode evened the odds.

Read the fight again. Gaara had to be carried away from Sasuke just to recover. How does that not qualify as beating him? In fact, it's probably more accurate to say Sasuke beat Gaara and Naruto beat Shukaku. Since, well, he basically fought a mini version of Shukaku anyway. And no, not at the point. The Valley of the End pretty much showed they were relatively equal.

ABC is out but conjecture is in? Yes, Sasuke did injure Gaara in the chunin fight. However the fight was far from over as I recall, and Gaara probably would have done the same thing in the Chunin fight that he did during the invasion, which is, go Bijuu mode and own Sasuke. If Gaara could do it, then why the Hell can't Naruto? Naruto used some kyubii chakra to beat Neji, what would stop him from using more to beat Sasuke?

Somehow, I liked the fact that they both got power-ups while in the middle of their fight. The same shit should definitely happen again. awesome

At the valley of the end, Sasuke gained even more power from his seal. he was not at that level during the invasion of Konoha.

Sakura would kill Temari with one punch. That is all it would take, and Sakura by feats is the faster of the two. Unless the fight starts off from an extreme distance, Sakura handily wins.

Also, by showings, Kankuro is far more powerful than his sister, due to being, you know, better than Sasori, having beaten him and possessing his body and shit for a puppey. Kankuro by showings is stronger than everyone in the listing barring Naruto and Sasuke.

My point was, during the invasion of Konoha, Naruto looked to be stronger than Sasuke. He had Kyuubi chakra and Gamabunta summon which both, imo could have raped Sasuke at that time. I can agree that Naruto and Sasuke were fairly even at the valley of the end. I don't agree that they were even at the hospital, it's just that Naruto did not go all out.

It was over. He went batshit crazy when he was struck by Chidori. He stopped his transformation, and then had to be carried by Kankuro once Baki told them to retreat. So no, the same thing would not have happened.

Because Sasuke was still superior to the Naruto that beat Neji? The mode Naruto used to overpower Sasuke at VotE was far more powerful than the one he used to beat Neji. He needs specific triggers to enter the former which won't be happening unless Sasuke tries to kill him in their fight and/or he is extremely bloodlusted.

FMA's not really the same Fight genre though.

So is Sakura basically as strong as Tsunade? I thought there was still a gap between the two.

I cannot recall anything that makes Sakura faster than Temari.

Lawl, Kankuro beat a Sasori who had no puppets and with the help of Sai and Omoi. Chouji would beat Kankuro like Shikamaru beats himself off to Kankuro's sister every night. Also Temari >>>

Si. If Gamabunta was summoned, Naruto could beat a lot of people. But this forgets the fact that 1) Naruto tends not to use summons unless it's for something big and 2) Gamabunta would not waste his time on anyone small. Which leaves Naruto with Kyuubi charaka up against the faster Sasuke. Who can move as fast as Rock Lee, the guy who did make Naruto look like a joke.
