Sasuke has been the stronger of the two from the start of Part 1 all the way until Naruto mastered Sage Mode; at which point, Naruto was the stronger of the two, at least until Sasuke got his Susano'o completed.
The gap has varied from fairly large to nearly non-existent, but Sasuke has been at least a hair stronger than Naruto for the majority of the story.
Currently, Naruto is stronger, and the gap is extremely large simply because EMS Sasuke is more or less as strong as he was at his peak with the MS.

He'll end up becoming a Madara clone anyway, though I personally think he'll surpass Madara.

Ya-huh. Theres a reason she's the personal bodyguard to a Kage while Sai and Sakura aren't even Jonin yet.

The former seeing as Temari running out of chakra would probably get her killed. Also she might just not have had enough to summon it by that point. The fact remains that she has the summon and can use it, so unless you just ignore which you seem to be doing, its still a factor.

And Sai reminds me of a plank of wood.

Sai is an Anbu, which is more impressive in my humble opinion. And Sakura is probably closer to Tokubetsu Jonin.

The latter, as the Raikage could take her attacks all day before blitzing her. And nah, I'm not ignoring it. Temari strikes me as the type of person who would not use her summon very often.

Right before Naruto showed up, her thought bubble was: "My only option left is to use Quick Beheading Dance repeatedly!"

So she can use the forest-killing summon technique multiple times in rapid succession if she has to. That'd be really nasty.

Also on Kankuro, are we forgetting his Sasori puppet?

I can't agree with you here. I truly think Rasengan>Chidori. You're right, Sasuke did bail Naruto out with Haku, but I never said that Naruto has always been stronger than Sasuke. i simply said that Sasuke has not always been stronger than Naruto at every point in the manga. in the Gaara fight, it doesn't matter if he helped or not, the point is at the end of the fight sasuke couldn't compete with Gaara or Naruto.

so you're telling me that even though Sasuke failed to defeat the Gaara as a jinchuriki, he was still stronger than Naruto who did? I will concede that Sasuke was actually quite a bit more powerful than Naruto up until that point.

Is the Sasori puppet actually as powerfuls as Sasori? it may be a dumb question but I never really paid close attention to Kankuro

It's not. Chidori and Rasengan tie in every single encounter. The only thing the water tower scene showed was that the Rasengan was powerful in a different way, which we already knew. And ya, I guess he couldn't. Being conflicted with that whole Curse Seal and everything. Healthy Sasuke, at the time, effectively beat Gaara and would probably beat Naruto.

Lol, no. Sai was a member of Root, which isn't shown to be particularly combat-focused. Plus he just sucks. Kage Bodygaurd >>> And Sakura is a chunin.

Only because he was an Edo Tensei zombie, she was capable of cutting him, which is damn impressive considering his durability. And Q99 is right. So she does and will use it. Shes always been portrayed as the strongest non-adult Kunoichi. In the chunin exams she was able to easily block Lees kick and called him pathetic afterwards.

Again if you say so. the second part is just conjecture. If I remeber correctly, teh curse seal actually enabled him to use more chidoris then his normal chakra level would have allowed, and yet he still couldn't hang

It gave him one extra shot and left him doubled over in pain lol. Of course he isn't going to be hanging with anyone. Hell, Lee at that time would probably have gotten his ass handed to him by the little toad Naruto summoned.

And they were Danko's bodygaurds so they were the strongest in Root, not representative of the whole. And that they were Danko's bodygaurds is why Guy wasn't.

Little toad? The toad was as big as the squirrel bijuu. Sure he doubled over in pain.....because he was over his limit! Fact is Sasuke had nothing left and would have been murdered. Naruto on the other hand won the fight, thus at that point Naruto>Sasuke

As-of the Gaara fight, Sasuke was faster, more precise, and more flexible. Naruto had more raw power. Until Naruto got the rasengan, Sasuke would've won in a fight.

Danzo did describe Sai as the strongest ninja of his age. Ink provides good flexibility, he has solid taijutsu, and those ink giants he used to hit Edo Deidara and Sasori were pretty strong and he made them *fast*.

As powerful as Sasori's actual body, yes.

His arsenal also includes The Parents, the two puppets Chiyo used with the chakra shields, in addition to multiple non-human puppets.

Squirrel Bijuu? That's just nutty. Was talking about Gamakichi(?). And yeah he was over his limit. Considering he does NOT have a demon inside him. Effectively, Sasuke did beat Gaara. And probably would beat Naruto unless Gamabunta was summoned, which would be unlikely.
