Well at that time Orochimaru coming back made sense considering that was the main body that Sasuke had supressed using his own chakra. This version of Orochimaru that was inside Anko is just a weird Horcrux. Which is weird since it would make Orochimaru nigh unkillable in sorts.

But it would've been better had he not just popped up like a genie. Also if it was kind of similar to the Uchiha Hideout incident, then wouldn't Orochimaru have been able to come back in either Anko or Kabuto just as easily when they were out of charka.

I had originally had this same question. now that I think about it, this is different. He needed oro dna in this current revival from kabuto, since this was not his main "self". Had Kabuto not been around, I assume this wouldn't have been possible.

Yeah, it was sudden. At least one entire chapter should have passed before he was revived.
It was just this small bit of Orochimaru's mind that lacked a body inside Anko's Cursed Seal, unlike the Uchiha Hideout incident, which had most of Orochimaru's mind and even his body suppressed within Sasuke.

Still, Sasuke resurrected him with ease. Also seems to be something he came up with on the spot.

Well, the Oro DNA/mind inside of kabuto helped a lot as well. Kabuto was in the same boat as Sasuke in suppressing Oro. All he had to do was combine the two and Oro did the rest. it said Oro knew what was going on.

'I knew it'. I think we all did kid. Orochimaru isn't exactly subtle. 😉

I just realized that Orochimaru is in sort of an abusive relationship with the kid he is trying to be a pedo with....

anyway... what's up with orochimaru just snubbing kabuto? he could've at least dispelled the genjutsu when he picked his pockets.

But when he talked of reviving Oro..I figured getting him out of the eternal genjutsu he is trapped in by that sword...not pull him out of Anko.

I thought Sasuke felt sorry for the dude when Orochimaru dispelled the Sage Transformation.

Oh he did. I'm glad Kishi is going in this direction with Sasuke. He's not being lol evil. Now he's just...sad to watch. My friend, who hates Sasuke, said he was given the impression that Sasuke doesn't want to do this.

Yeah, i kinda feel bad for him. He works so hard to get all that chakra and special abilities, and it gets stripped from him by Orochimaru.

He does wish to look at the bigger picture now. As opposed to wanting to kill everyone in Konoha single-mindedly much like he did with Itachi.

I personally hope he remembers what he felt like just before Tobi told him about Itachi. The time when it looked like he felt empty after he had just accomplished the only goal he's had for 8 years.

I think he might be heading to Konoha to meet with the Elders. Or might it be Madara or some other group entirely? mmm
