Well, I thought the chapter was boring minus Guy doing the cool nun chuk block from behind.
This proves just how much crisp and efficient Minato is/was. If 3 guys cannot pull off what Minato was able to pull off on his own, this shows that Madara is right: there are definitely no Kage left of Hashirama's caliber.
Naruto is easily kage level. Kakashi is because he was about to be made one. Guy was/is able to defeat a Kage level character (a strong one, at that) in the form of Kisame. So we have 3 Kage level characters fighting Tobi all at once and Tobi is still holding his own with ease.
Contrast that with Minato and the fight seems much more one sided in favor of Minato.
I'd like to see a bit more beat down on Tobi. He hasn't been beat down by anyone but Minato. He needs to be dropped a peg or two. I'm okay with the "big bad" being dropped by 3 people at once, however.
good point there, dadudemon. kinda makes no sense too when people say Naruto has surpassed his dad too, though that could have just applied to the rasangen if I recall correctly. chances are though that perhaps within the next few chapters, Naruto, Kakashi, and Guy will be able to do some more damage. after all, Guy has yet to use the inner gates.
I doubt Naruto is or will ever be as strong or efficient as his father, let alone Hashirama, who Madara himself considered as his superior strength-wise.
I know it's too early to call, but I predict Orochimaru and Sasuke to meet-up with Rikudo-Sennin.
Logically, he's the only person I can think of who knows the reason for the war.
I'd say Naruto's surpassed Minato- keep in mind that at this moment, Naruto is not using his ultimate mode and it's gigantic raw power. He's also only using one clone.
Tobi did wear down this lot with his jinchuuriki somewhat first.

Tobi seems to be spending more time phased than normal, though- remember that Torune/Fu was able to hit him, as well as Konan twice.
If he decides to spend more time phased, it's harder to force him to attack. It's not like he's hurting them either.

If you remember, Tobi tried to pull the same exact tactic with Naruto as he did with Minato: that chain pull thing. Also, Tobi MAY just be faster in his fight with those three than with Minato...most likely not, however.
If you consider that Tobi has a 3 tomoe sharingan, he can predict their movements quite well. For me, this just shows how badass Tobi is when he isn't fighting characters on Minato's level. I think downplayed Tobi against his fight with Minato. That was me more or less admitted fault on one of the things we argued about. I tried to say that Minato was waaaaay faster than Tobi and Tobi was a 4-4.5 in speed. Well, based on what he's doing against those three, he's a superbly fast fighter in both reaction and movement. So, no, Tobi isn't the slowpoke I was portraying him as in our argument...Minato is just fast and ultra-efficient with his movements.
If you remember, the reason the chain pull thing didn't work on Minato was because Minato's speed comes from his ability to pop in and out of space. He was caught like Naruto was but then he popped through space and time to get out. Naruto is just really fast, he can't do that.
But yeah, I liked this chapter a lot if only because everyone(cept Bee I guess) got to have their own little moments of badass. Tobi was just awesome through and through though.

Yeah it's really gonna take an eye for fight choreography in order to appreciate this fight. Took me like 3 reads to get it all.
But once I did, it honestly is a really damn good fight. It's exciting but at the same time you can see the strategy involved.
^ Coolest part for me was probably where Gai uses his own foot to stop his nunchuk and attack Tobi with that nunchuk. Outsped Tobi, and after that, he blindly blocked a badass fan capable of cutting through rocks and stopping Rasengans. Shweet.
And I dunno why, but I lol'd at Tobi kicking Kakashi's Raiton-kunai towards Naruto. Was cool though.

Indeed. In terms of badass for this fight...
Tobi(He's fighting off these guys like a freaking pro. Bonus points for his lack of Susano'o: Everything he is doing is done by his own reactions, he's not just leaving a shield up to protect him)
Guy(Dude is going all Zoro with his nunchaku. I always thought it was a random addition during his fight with Kisame but now it's just cool. He's doing the best against Tobi)
Naruto(Nothing too remarkable but I like how he is using his sensing to help predict Tobi and how he's working well with both Kakashi and Guy)
Kakashi(Not a big fan of his sudden spamming of the MS but eh it's still cool how he's planning ahead and such. Being pragmatic in trying to attack the Mazo at least)
Bee isn't on the list because the manga didn't really have him do anything. I'd love to see 7 sword style vs Tobi.
