Obvious clue is obvious.

That's not a "clue".Anyway, if Tobi's mask is truly shattered, he should be dead now, Being an Uchiha doesn't allow you to survive a rasengan.
Nah, good armor breaks to absorb damage.

this was indeed a pretty badass fight, but I gotta agree with AuraAngel on Kakashi really using Kamui. makes you wonder a bit on just how he has not died yet. oh wait, plot armor.
He's used it, what, 4 times? Twice on something small, and once he cancelled the technique due to the target being unsummoned?
He's out, but I'm not surprised he's not dead. And doing it on a clone means he doesn't have to do it again.
There really hasn't been a good transition in his abilities with it. He used it twice in the Pain fight(once on something very tiny) and the second time could not get a full body. This killed him. The only way it makes sense is if Lightning clones cost most chakra than Kamui(which would be stupid). In this fight, Kakashi has used a shadow clone, Raikiri, a modified version of Raikiri, and Kamui thrice(maybe four times). He looked worn when he showed up.
i understand the concept of impact absorption, but this isn't the case here. this is especially lolworthy as the mask shattered in his face which in real life is very bad, and it also made way for the rasengan to fallow through to the face the mask is supposed to protect.
anyway, armour in the classical sense isn't supposed to break; kevlar and crumplezones on cars are a relatively new concept

That's horrific logic. We've already seen that a regular kunai can scratch it, thus a rasengan would go right through it once it broke. Momentum, bro.Tobi's face should look like shit right now.
You trollin' bro? It wasn't the kunai that scratched it, it was the chakra blade around the kunai. Other than that Tobi's mask took a full-on headbutt from Naruto in his tailed-beast mode, so its pretty sturdy.
Wait a minute! You know regardless of whether or not Naruto knew about the Path Powers, is there any particular reason Tobi didn't just use Preta Path to absorb the Rasengan or use Shinra Tensei to push Naruto away or even Asura path to try and manhandle him. I mean Kamui should compensate for any lag Tobi might have so why not try to use a power that has screwed over Naruto many a times 😐

Complete shock. This is literally the first time anyone has been able to enter his dimension without him knowing.
*If* Kamui phasing and preta can be used at the same time. It looked like Preta and Susano'o couldn't.

Breaking absorbs momentum.
That's how helmets are supposed to work- after a crash, a good biking helmet will break right open and look totally wrecked and often leave the person safe.
Now, stuff can be too strong for that effect to be enough, but that's how they're designed.
Also, the kunai that scratched it was lightning-covered, it wasn't regular. We also saw it didn't crack when Naruto headbutted it.

Hmm...not being able to use both at the same time is plausible but it would've made more sense for Tobi to absorb the Rasengan than to phase. Then again he'd still have a clone stuck in his dimension but whatever.
