true I guess; all we have to do is wait and hope for some answers soon. still, he made it way too obvious the past few chapters that it was Obito. wonder if he did that on purpose.
Of course he did. Gets you all hyped up for the suspense of the unmasking and allows the Tobito theorists to be on the side with the better evidence for a change. Sure, people jumped ship at the last minute and will take credit for it but they know in their heart of hearts that they didn't see it coming. Whether they thought it was too dumb, too illogical, too silly, or whatever. It wasn't until roughly around a couple chapters ago that people really took Tobito seriously.
But that's just speculation on my part.
I don't really get the grip about Minato and the age thing... I mean... everyone's been reading the manga right? Since when has age had any negative correlation to power? Itachi. Sasuke. Naruto. Gaara. Being young as never stopped a character from being powerful, and as Naruto demonstrated being woefully inept is that much of a deterrence either if you are dedicated to improving.
Not to mention Tobi didn't do shit against the Fourth in the first place. He went intangible, then ate a Rasengan and ran away. Not a lot there to cry about considering Tobi's hacks power and how he has dealt with everyone else in the manga...

Yea, young characters can be strong... but the ones listed are prodigies and jinchuuriki, and Obito had barely activated his sharingan.
Mastering a mangekyo ability (and one that can be kept active constantly, so perhaps an Eternal)? That's not so easy.
He learned a lot, fast. While not completely impossible... I think if it is true there must be an extraordinary teacher involved.

He controlled Kurama, and took out multiple ANBU include Hiruzen's wife. Then he had a fairly elaborate seal ritual to remove Kurama from Kushina.
He also almost warped Minato once.
To even 'almost' against Minato takes skill.

True but I think it is selling Naruto short to attribute all his success to the fact that he is a jinchurriki. Naruto's whole stick is that stubborn, works hard and never gives up, and Obito was very clearly a Naruto analog, although one who seeming never got the chance to come into his powers. In the context of everything that has happened in the Manga it's pretty absurd to draw a line about how powerful Obito got in a short time frame. He's a Naruto archetype that lucked out and got a hacks mangekyo ability that would allow him to beat almost everyone in the manga even if he was completely inept at every other combat discipline.

Yeah but in the actually fight with the 4th, he didn't exactly walk all over Minato, in fact Minato got the better of him. Which is impressive considering Obito's deus ex machina sharingan and how he is pretty much embarrassed everyone else he has had altercations with. Minato did better than Bee, Naruto, Kakashi and Guy combined... and they have the one jutsu that can counter Tobi's mangekyo ability.

The main thing missing, really, is a teacher.
Also, big unanswered question: What the heck happened to Rin?

My guess would be she's dead and that's the reason he is insane. He gives Kakashi his eye, and tells him to protect Rin. Comes back and finds that Kakashi failed and Rin is dead... and then he goes INSANE.
A teacher could crop up. One would think that this reveal would mean Kakashi should be the one to beat Tobi, an unseen shadow player above Tobi would allow Kakashi to shine, and still give Naruto a person to beat up... or Kakashi gets merc'ed and Naruto needs revenge.
