Or maybe she's gonna have an Orochimaru connection. Might as well tie all those plot threads together. Last guess is she's Madara's spy since he was the Mizukage at some point, so this whole Mist Ninja thing could be something he set up.

The only question I have is, why didn't Kakashi end up in the coiled and crushed to death in the roots with the others? Obito saved Kakashi, who just killed his love interest.

I meant after he returned to Konoha and told people like Minato or other Uchiha about what happened. They might have told him that he could have unlocked the Mangeykou.

anyone else here surprised by the level of brutality Obito was showing? granted, under the circumstances, we can't really blame him, but still. almost felt sorry for those mist guys.
