Mother ****er! Friggin' Neji really is a boss. If he didn't have to protect everyone, he'd be able to withstand all but the biju blasts. His air palm strike is beastly, too. Also, I enjoyed the symbolism of that "free bird" falling when Neji died. That's the same bird he saw during the chunin exams when contemplating his own "freedom" as a branch member.

Well, the difference, and Kishimoto-san was trying to make that point, was Neji chose to protect Hinata rather than be forced to do so. She had already consigned herself to death in order to protect Naruto and Neji wasn't having it: his b0ner for Naruto was bigger than Hinata's cl*t b0ner.

same here. still, it seemed kinda... sudden I guess. I thought Kishi would spend a bit more time on the Ino-Shika-Cho trio before busting out something surprising like that. but now that it is confirmed the Juubi can still transform, it looks like a lot more people are going to die.

Is it me or some of the lines of Neji's are a bit too close to "now you have to bang my cousin Naruto"?

And he did it not just for Hinata but for Naruto.

Bwahahahaha!! Look at Kishi go. Killin three named characters in the span of two chapters. Though it's kind of sad how sudden it was.

Also look at Obito trying to be a boss: though he should be thanking Kabuto for making this possible...kind of. Good chapter overall.

I guess that's not entirely off, but Neji was entirely underused after his very first appearances, it felt kind of wasted when lame characters got so much spotlight since the Rescue Sasuke Arc.

Pity killing him without giving him a decent showing strikes me as a pretty dull thing to do with the character. I mean, the last time we saw him he was falling unconscious during the war, go hero!

Pretty good chapter. Lots of uber feats, especially Hiashi, and to a lesser extent, Neji.

Great chapter and good feats from the hyuuga's. Neji and hiashi deflecting that barrage of wood and hiashi creating a shockwave strong enought to push a tail from the ten tails itself. Impressed that kishi is focusing on others. But glad people are dying.

Not much of a loss if you ask me. Meh-Good death, but waste of a character in Part 2. Not to mention, he's completely overshadowed by Springtime of Youth's Neji. awesome

His character was complete at the end of part 1 and Kishi really doesn't seem to like cramming characters who have completed character arcs in his audiences faces like, say, Kubo. uhuh

With the exception of maybe Team 10 since they keep getting spot light but they're also kinda the anti-team 7 so...meh.

Team 10 is awesome though, so it's understandable.
