Really not seeing the problems people are having with this retcon that anyone could see coming from half a mile away.

I like how Hashirama and Tobirama are such powerful monsters. Tobirama lifts two fingers and the entire room pisses its pants.

A room including two dangerous ninjas, two hokages and two kage level threats.. starting to like this guy.

Still the weakest of the Hokage based on showings lol.

But he should logically be the second strongest after Hashirama since both of them spent their whole lives fighting day in and day out.

I hate this retcon....hardcore.

I would kiss Kishimoto if I ever met him...however, I would spank him, gently, on his behind for this retcon.

Why? Before it kinda made Hashirama and Tobirama look kind lame next to Hiruzen. At least now all three of them get points, with Hashirama coming out on top of course because that's the direction the story took.

Minato definitely shakes his head in shame for Tobirama. He would have solo'd those 20 guys. Madara and Hashirama, as well.

Yeah, I don't see this at all. I see Tobirama raising a finger, Sasuke tensing himself, Sarutobi trying to calm Tobirama down, Suigetsu cowering, and Hashirama subsequently telling him to STFU while everyone else in the room crapped their pants at Hashirama's Haki/Reiatsu prowess.

Tobirama's still a bawss though. He told Hashirama to STFU last chapter.

Yeah, after the Obito crap Kishi wrote, nothing should really surprise you anymore. Besides, we all saw this coming.

🙁 I really like Tobirama. I don't know why. And yes, even before the last couple of chapters I thought it a bit.... odd that the Hokage got merced by a couple handfuls of shinobi.

But Tobirama is fine as a character I guess. Gonna wait for him to do more before I determine his bawss status. It's very likely that he'll surpass Tsunade in my eyes soon enough(I actually think she gets a lot of undeserved flack at times).

I didn't. One thing that Kishimoto does better than most other big name mangakas is continuity. He is great at not writing in plotholes. Now we have full-powered ET bodies that fought Hiruzen that were not revived at full power in the past or present but revived at almost full-power currently and was at a higher level than in the past despite the past supposedly being full power.

If that doesn't make sense, it is not supposed to: that's the point of a PIS.

they could very well have been 20 Kakashi/Guy level ninja, and that's certainly enough to take out a kage.

There also could have been extenuating circumstances that we aren't aware of.

All of that speculation could be true. The lack of detail about the way both him and Hash went out has always been a let down for me. Hopefully we'll get the deets on those situations soon enough. And yeah, I could only *hope* those were 20 Kakashi level guys or circumstances involved. No one who looks as badass as Tobes should go out like a punk!

Oda is far better at continuity than Kishimoto lol.

But this retcon is for the better people. Hashirama and Tobirama looked pathetic in their battle with Hiruzen. I'm glad it turns out they were weaker.

His chakra flex and wall grab have already impressed me. Hoping we're going to get more of this stuff in full action.

And yeah, Tsunade does. She's a great character with a heartwarming connection to Naruto but her fights always leave a little something to be desired. I think if she used a lot more common shinobi tech alongside her strengfff1, she'd look a lot more competent.
