Makes no difference. It doesn't pull a specific amount of chakra, it splits it evenly.
Lightning clone has additional effects, though, which probably have a flat cost.
And point is he was still in combat- being at half puts him low enough that it could easily get him killed.
This was a really good chapter. The ending, while not what I expected considering

And the dialogue between Obito and Kakashi was well done. Tobi is one disturbed individual.
I kinda love that an entire clan of ninja have basically been relegated to walky talky.
I mean the series has actual radio headsets and shit. Why doesn't the Shinobi Alliance use them? I suppose you could argue the prescence of the Juubi might render them unworkable since it's chakra is so huge it could affect the tech but still.
Silly nitpick lol.
Headsets seem to have short-range, and they're probably designed to only link a few at a time.
And this is in addition to Ino pulling the possession thing repeatedly. She just keeps on being super-useful.

Also, apparently you can use jutsu out of your element! It just sucks unless you have literally thousands and thousands of ninja doing it.
