lest we forget...

Its still stupid lol

So because hes emotional we should give him a pass as a character?

nobody is saying that, but kishi pretty much told us why he reacted the way he did with that exchange, then you add just how nice of a child he was on top of that.....

moon's eye plan isn't even his idea - it's madara's, he's just rolling with it

Is it as bad as watching your sensei get impaled and you parent get blown to pieces, living your whole life thinking your dead mother hated you and your father wants you dead so he constantly trys to kill you, watching your whole family get killed by your brother including your parents, or living with the fact that your life was worthless and your father died because of the cowardice of your uncle.

Errr, Shikamaru's a little different, yes Asuma was killed infront of him, but it wasn't by like Choji or someone of equal value of kakashi to Obito. And his dad was a casualty of war, which while still bad, is also different.

Gaara was already born unstable, and before talk no jutsu from Naruto, he was pretty messed up lol. "I exist to kill all other human beings." was his mantra if I remember correctly.

Sasuke wasn't mr. sunshine before either, he left his newly acquired family and attempted to murder his best friend because of that.

Neji was pretty messed up too. He just didn't have the ability to take his revenge out properly. He would have killed his cousin if it weren't for the jonin interference though.

All in all to me i think this war sucked compared to other wars in other anime and the villian that led the war is rather lack luster..... But ill continue to read only because i want know how it ends because part of me still has hope for the series since i was such a huge fan of the earlier arcs

They pretty much state that there is a plot point that makes Uchina poor villains and poor characters 👆

I didn't think it was possible

Spoiler:
to insert yet another flashback at this point

Touché Kishi ahah

A lot of revelations this chapter in regards to Sage of the Six Paths and his family, Naruto's 'destiny' and all that.

And she's now confirmed to be the strongest thing in Narutoverse. Even stronger than the Sage, Juubi, and

Spoiler:
Sage of the Six path's brother.

I've liked these last two chapters tbh. Some of the few I'd consider to be good in months.

^ The pic itself is spoiler enough dude...and we kind of already knew that.

With that said this chapter gets an F for flashback

Spoiler:
Because screw Gai's blaze of glory and someone legitimately hurting Madara other than Hashirama and Biju, nope Kishi just has to give us a flashback. To think didn't we just have one two chapters ago? Anyway Naruto's retardness returns and Rikkudo tells us the tragic story of how he had to spend his life outshining his brother(who came out of nowhere) and having to save the world because his mom screwed up everything: though I'm curious as to why she took the fruit in the first place. The answer could possibly give us our first truly evil powerhouse since...well Orochimaru. With that said the chapter was very informative of things I was kind of curious about along with confirming a few other fan theories but man was this flashback oddly placed

I'm still pretty surprised that he made a female the most powerful character of his manga. Kishimoto's known for side-lining the females and making them useless/weak af. Kurenai would probably be the best example of that. Lol

I was under the impression that they were equal in terms of power, but he had more skill because he actually developed said powers into different jutsu and whatnot.

Also, does anyone else think that Kimimaro has some features similar to Kaguya? He came from the Kaguya clan so there might be a relation there.

Kishi tries to resurrect the idea of Naruto's strength coming from hard work instead of genetic predestination.

Makes him the reincarnation of the goodest good guy ever and destined to lead the world.

So, Naruto's Ashura, and Sasuke's Indra, and they'll have to fight and reconcile to end this whole centuries long war.

This chapter was actually quite good. Only thing that stops it from being really good is the fact that Kishi used it to delay the conclusion to a fight that was awesome.

And Hagoromo is a bawss.

Spoiler:
So the Bijuu are really just half of the Ten Tails/Shinju?

Nah, Indra will obviously turn out to be Tenten. The real antagonist of the series!

So Naruto has: Massive chakra reserves and heightened vitality from his Ukumaki heritage, the 9-tails giving him even MORE chakra and vitality, he's the son of the 4th Hokage, he's literally the chosen one spoke of in prophecy and he's the reincarnation of ninja Jesus.

Naruto: A true underdog story.

I was thinking that the Sage's brother, who has half of the Juubi's power, is going to play a key role, here.

Why does everyone has to have a brother?

Because Naruto and Sasuke are like brothers.

More or less literally brothers now that it's revealed they're the reincarnation s of the sage's sons. Wonder what happened to Indra though...

kishi had no other choice but to give the most powerful enemy in the manga who was up till this very point insurmountable in power an equal by just saying there is another equal power as his out there. the sage was THAT DUDE for hundreds of chapters, but now we not only know his mom was clearly his superior but he himself has a peer... enter: naru/sasu fusion dance

kishi had no choice as some alleged interviews stated he didn't know what to do with the madara problem.

also: Naruto is mentally challenged. that whole exchange at the beginning was causing me real life pain as i was going to work in the morning.

i understand how he's like son goku with the whole simple-minded thing with a heart of gold, but my god was he exceptionally stupid this chapter

Who here didnt know that naruto was some kind of reincarnation..... Its been foreshadowed so many times throughout the series. His chakra cloak being the most noticeable.

I also think its ironic how kishi is highlighting hard work all of a sudden when naruto has profited from having one of the best genetic lineages in the series.
