either madara has 2 rin'nigan and the obito sharingan, left the dimension without getting what he so badly wanted or obito left the dimension

sasuke also cut madara with his sword when naruto's uber magma rasengan didn't

OR madara placed a new seal on obito's heart that allows him to directly control him and both he and obito are back in the real world.

i think that them both being returned to the real is the most likely as a few plot lines are still active and without kamui you can't really go in and out of that dimension

We know very little of all the possible seals used in Naruto. Seals can be used as traps, as well, as we have seen. Characters, such as Orochimaru, have hinted at an extremely vast amount and variety of seals (some seals can be used as traps that have specific conditions kind of like a computer macro or custom Starcraft map). There is also the Uzumaki clan that supposedly had the lion's share of seals in the ninja world. It's possible that most of the potent seals have been lost, actually.

Just because we are not aware of all the different varieties of seals, does not mean all of them would be useless. If they are made with senjutsu chakra, they should work on Madara, as we have seen.

Basically, IF Kishimoto wanted to have a strategic fight, he would have one. He doesn't. He just wants these fights to be about power.

Wouldn't it be MUCH better, though, if they WTF pwned Madara with their heads using ninja tricks, seals, and traps? You know...like old Naruto used to be.

Right now, I see a bunch of power-ranger, Go-Bots, Mega-Zord, combined powers, Captain Planet shit.

Barrier ninjutsu is prolly what ddm means to talk about when talking about trapping the opponent?
Still, no one on team 7 makes offensive use of seals or barriers anyway. Kakashi's the only one who would think of doing so, and he's exhausted.

I wonder, did the Sage divide his power between his Eyes/spiritual energy and Senjutsu/physical energy, or did he split his overall power into two, or are the two not mutually exclusive?

Madara being beaten via trickery would be better. Tobi was beaten via brute power and talk no jutsu. It's only fair if Madara's beaten via trickery and talk no jutsu.

That's actually an interesting theory, I hadn't thought of that before! I had just assumed that it's some sort of teleportation technique, but your theory makes sesne.

After all, Creation of All Things was the Sage's ultimate technique which Izanagi was based on, after inheriting the power of the sage it isn't unthinkable that some form of it would be Sasuke's new power.

Of course, it also has to have a limit besides the fact that apparently it can only be used in a certain range, as Itachi said: All techniques have weaknesses.

sasuke fought danzo so he knows how it works and what he's doing looks similar to what danzo was doing during their fight. another thing is that sasuke needed tobirama to help him get to the battlefield, the current theory is that he only moves short range but why couldn't he just make short teleport hops to the battlefield? maybe he just can't.

For the ranking, here's a tough one:

Gai's dad. He was an eternal Genin yet could open the gate-of-death (apparently not as well as Gai could, else there would have been zero opposing survivors, but still).

I want to see why Madara wants his left Rinnegan back, when he can now infinite spam Kakashi's Kamui.

So Sakura has completely mastered the Genesis Rebirth tech somehow but is still amount to absolutely nothing against Madara who now has his Rinnegan. Said Rinnegan allows him to make even more Limbo clones that Naruto has to fight off and he can even use Chibaku Tensei as rain-drops. Sasuke appears to have a Perfect Susanoo of his own but its less impressive than Madara's which is a shame since he has the Rinnegan now.

Oh and Madara's going to use Infinite Tsukuyomi and stuff because...plot.

i care more about sasuke's eye than whatever madara can do

I don't like the power-up bullshit going on. I still think it should be about strategy and intelligence. This is a stupid way to end Naruto.

How is it less impressive than Madara's? Those meteorites Madara is dropping seem to be much larger than the one he cut up with his Perfect Susano'o.
Hell, Sasuke's Susano'o is jumping around, which is more than Madara's showed in terms of mobility.

That said, I thought Kishi would have showed off Sasuke's Perfect Susano'o in a more dramatic fashion. Maybe there's another Susano'o upgrade down the line?
