Well, I believe that Susano'o (or at least Perfect Susano'o) is actually something of a legendary ability. To the point where there might just be another level beyond the highest one Madara and Sasuke have recently displayed.

I mean honestly, why did he need the biju in the first place? Why not just have deidara fly him up to the moon with his rinnegan in and light that bi*ch up? Then the entire war could've been avoided, and he could have a WAY easier time going around and finding the genjutsu'd jinchuriki to steal the biju from if he wanted to be the jyuubi host so badly.
I feel like that scene just ruined half of the series plot itself. -_-
Anyway though, I totally disagree with the person that said Sasuke's new Susano'o is unimpressive. It could cut meteors in half with one slice, that were all planetary devastations themselves, that all looked to be MUCH bigger than the meteors Madara previously summoned. Btw, Madara had to use rinnegan when he used perfect Susano'o on the kage too. I'm thinkin' that you might need Rinnegan to unlock perfect Susano'o...
Also, I think Naruto and co are phucked at this point. They will obviously win, but they need someone to save them here. My money's on Obito. I think he's gonna use the last of his jyuubi chakra to warp the moon to the kamui dimension, then Kakashi's gonna go to him, and he's gonna have Sakura give Kakashi his other sharingan, just like when they were kids... Also, Sakura and Kakashi aren't doin' nothin', so god knows they won't be preoccupied by fighting or anything. 😬

Hell, Sasuke's Susano'o is jumping around, which is more than Madara's showed in terms of mobility.That said, I thought Kishi would have showed off Sasuke's Perfect Susano'o in a more dramatic fashion. Maybe there's another Susano'o upgrade down the line?
Maybe it was because of the scale and how Sasuke's Gundam Susanoo appeared to be smaller than the meteorites he was cutting up. Will say that the wings are a nice touch. Then again Madara's was able to kind of stand up against a giant Buddha statue.
Madara's was also more dramatic whereas Sasuke's Perfect Susanoo reveal was rather weak.
On an unrelated note what was the point of amping up Sakura if she wasn't going to do anything?

Unlike your feeble minds I do not need diagrams to perceive strategy nor do I need someone to say "I am using tactics" to see tactics. There were tactical decisions made in this chapter.

The big one though is Madara using the Chibaku Tensei to keep the heroes at bay. It's not just because he's overpowered nor was it a means of keeping the team busy long enough to get his plans going(though this is certainly part of it). It's because Sasuke's Rinnegan has a limit in range and so keeping out of that range reduces the effectiveness of an opponents moveset.
All of that said I don't particularly like the fight because unless your name is Sasuke, Naruto, or Madara then you're practically a non-factor. Even before the entire Shinobi Army could at least fight the tree and contribute in some capacity. Hell the reason Obito lost was because Naruto rallied the whole world to his side. Here's its just these 3. Sakura, Kakashi, hell most of the Edo Kage are all nothing in this conflict. That is what makes Aura a sad puppy.
Still surprised how despite everything else that has happened recently, nobody is talking about Naruto's holy-hands more. The guy has become ninja-jesus and yet we're still more concerned with Sasuke's unimpressive Rinnegan. Sure his Perfect Susanoo megazord is nice but other than that all he's done with it is use it as a very good seeing eye...which is kind of lame all things considered.
Oh and as for Sakura's amp, wouldn't this make her just as powerful as Tsunade via powerscaling which would subsequently make her Kage level. Funny how that works eh!
Also, what happened to the rest of the SA? Did they just give up or something?

Pound for pound (i.e. similar forms) Sasuke's Susano'o should now be more powerful than Madara's, due to the Hagoromo power-up.
Yep. At least when Sasuke armoring Naruto's Bijuu mode with Susano'o, it was quite epic. This was almost random.
Makes me think Sasuke will have another level of Susano'o.

Teamwork, lel. Naruto and Sasuke are trying to fight Madara, while Sakura is busy charging in and wondering if one of the dudes who is trying to beat a certifiable god, is thinking about her. At this point, she's about as useful as Hinata.
Some of them ran away when Madara stared down the Bijuu (damn, that was a badass moment). The rest (really just Hiruzen) are preoccupied with Guruguru.

You've pointed out a plothole, not a strategy. If what you said was true, then he would have used 2 - 4 against Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gai, etc.
He didn't. He used 1.
He got his other eye so now he is full power. The power increased 4-fold, that's it.
But it is still a plothole because neither of our explanations were fleshed out because...wait for it...the fights are not strategic, in the slightest. 🙂

This is not the reason, at all. Madara is just using shit because he can use it. He is just flexing his power. Didn't he even state that is what he is doing, on panel?
None of these are strategies that you have named, by the way.
Obito tried to use a strategy: destroy the eye to keep Madara from powering up. That was an excellent tactical call.
