EMS Madara challenged him too much to believe he'd be able to deal with this Madara.
Sasuke's Susanoo is on the same level as EMS Madara's. And judging from his performance against the Shinobi Alliance in his first appearance, I wouldn't doubt that his Taijustsu is at least as good as Sasuke's is now. While Sasuke has his teleportation Rinnegan, Madara had a Susanoo' enveloped full Nine Tailed Fox with him. Let's also not forget how half of the Nine Tails and Sasuke's weaker Susano'o was able to stare down Juubito.
And Harashima was still stronger than he was. Now that he's Edo Tensei, he also has infinite charka and is much harder to kill permanently. His Wood Dragon and Forest Emergence could help stop the falling Chibaku Tensei. Madara tells 8-gates Gai that he's the strongest he's ever faced as far as Taijutsu goes, which goes to imply that Harashima is still the strongest he's faced overall, which means he could still be a threat as well.
I think people are overestimating the "god" gap that's been going on lately. Harashima admitted Juubito was stronger than he was, but in no way was he and his fellow edo Kage unable to compete.
I still think Harashima could contribute to the battle just as well as Sasuke or Naruto are.

I'd wager Sasuke's current Susano'o > VotE Madara's Susano'o.
You did see how easily a reincarnated Madara dealt with Edo Hashirama, didn't you?
At his peak, Hashirama's more than powerful enough to contribute to the battle against Ten Tails Madara, and not be overwhelmed. But given that Sasuke+Naruto=Hagoromo, it's hard to say if he'd do as well as either of those two did against Madara, given how easily they walked all over him in round 1.

Yeah Sasuke's Susanoo should be more powerful. However you can hardly tell since its size and presentation were both weak in this chapter.
Hashirama could contribute to the battle considering he has Sage enhanced jutsu, since Kishi had to spite dadudemon 😄, which is apparently the only thing that can hurt him other than taijutsu. Then again he's an Edo so he's not at full power and Madara can negate Edo Tensei regen. At the very least Hashiram can induce another one of Madara's "rape faces"

Agreed.
I was talking about a completely resurrected Hashirama at his peak though. Edo Hashirama would be easily dealt with by Madara. We were shown that the manga.

^ This looks like the official coloured version of the latest chapter (676, not 677).
So, Sasuke's Rinnegan is in fact red (awesome), and I dislike Ten-Tails Madara's colour scheme, even though its pretty much the same as Hagoromo's. Also, I never noticed the holes in the mouth of Sasuke's incomplete Susano'o.
Don't really understand your question.
In Limbo, Madara creates shadows of himself on an alternate dimension that can't be seen nor sensed by normal shinobi in the real dimension. However, these shadows do physically exist on the real dimension, so their attacks can still land despite not being able to be seen or sensed. These shadows also cannot be harmed by Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or Taijutsu--Only Senjutsu, similarly to the Truth Seeking Balls. Unlike normal Shadow Clones also, these are actual Clones--They do not dissipate when injured. The only drawback is that Madara has to withdrawal them after a set amount of time, and then there is a set amount of time before he can spawn them again.
Hopefully that answers any question you may have.

You basically just destroyed your own argument, lol.
Hashirama was able to defeat Madara's perfect Susano'o covering a Kyuubi twice as strong as Naruto's, but someone stronger than Hashirama couldn't defeat a weaker Sasuke's Susano'o covering a half powered Kyuubi Naruto? That makes no sense, lol.
Either way, Hashirama said Jyuubito was stronger, and it was stated by Gaara or someone that Jyuubidara was even stronger than him with only one of his rinnegan. He got four times stronger with his second rinnegan.
That's over four times stronger than someone who's stronger than someone who's stronger than Hashirama, lol. And Naruto and Sasuke are fighting him and doing very well. Don't know how they'll fare against this infinite Tsukiyomi, but we'll see, lol.

at any rate, if that really was her spirit or something, she's working on a higher level than her son since Hagoromo only showed up in Naruto's subconscious. she actually showed up in the real world.
That's a good point.
Imagine if she started lactating, though. It would be raining breast milk. I bet her milk has a slight purple hue to it. hmm
Seems reasonable. No concrete numbers or calculations, but it gives a sense of the massively increasing scale of destructive power over the last 200 or so chapters.
The only things off are that the Shinju never destroyed Obito's barrier as he said he'd bring down the barrier; and the size of the Bijuu damas with respect to 6 Tailed Kyuubi's failed Bijuu bomb, so I'm ignoring the 20km thing, even though it's stated to be just an assumption.

i have a question about limbo: are they blocking attacks from the other side and in that instance when madara used it to blow everyone away did they do that or what?

What's weird about Rinbo Hengoku is that the clone cannot be sensed or felt or physically interacted with in any way by people on the physical plane (barring senjutsu chakra), yet the clone can hit stuff. At least Obito couldn't physically interact with anything when using his Kamui's defensive aspect.
Is this a trope or something I'm not aware of?

I thought that image you linked was something perverted along the lines with the stuff I had been posting. I very cautiously opened that link (made sure the coast was clear at work) and saw that it wasn't some depraved and perverted image.
I was both disappointed and relieved.
