Complaining about Kaguya is like complaining about the huge boxes on the end of power cords. You just have to deal with them and everyone accepts that they're lame.

And yeah it would. Unless Kabuto had erected a barrier that could somehow keep the light out.

Just seems weird how one moment this thread was ablaze with disappointment with Kaguya and Obito and next there isn't that much of anything.

I was thinking there would be a third arc where Naruto gets his chunin/jonin status.

The manga is winding down a bit lackluster 🙁 It seems like they are just trying to figure out some way to end it but they have no idea how to. Feels like a Harry Potter fast-forward open ended scene is coming.

The Uzumaki would be a interesting side story. I think the others mentioned have been beaten to death in flashbacks. We just know nothing about the Uzumaki at all really.

Were we actually shown why Orochimaru defected?

Or anything about the past non ho-kage's? I mean the first Mizukage has sharp teeth so maybe he brandished all 7 swords, the first tsuchikage was stated to be a bee master in a filler and judging from his striped motif it seems likely. The first Kaze and Raikage are complete unknowns same with the second Raikage and the third Mizukage has never been shown or even mentioned. The second Kazekage also has nearly nothing to his name other than he was the one to first study the bijuu...

Konohomaru's story could work is Sasuke dies and Naruto loses most of his sot6p chakra & bijuu chakra.

Kishimoto legitimately forgot Konohamaru's name in an interview. I doubt he'll be getting a story for himself.

But there wasn't an interview on it so we don't have solid proof.
