it's not a prediction, or even something i think makes sense in the context of the story... it's just what i want to happen as an avid, day one hater of Sasuke.

What a nerd.

Nem, your balls get so wet when I'm around.

W-what?

Do you actually believe your own bullshit?

That is for you to decide.

What are you talking about?

Think about what the manga's themes are, and what ideas have been hammered into our heads by Kishimoto for hundreds of chapters. Then think of how Naruto's solution to this conflict being killing him would betray those themes.

As someone who's been a fan of Sasuke since day one, I support his decision 110%...although..maybe only 100%...or 90%...cause like..he says it's not for revenge anymore..and I really wish it was still for revenge >_>..

Naruto: "Sakura...you protect this flower...and I'll protect you who is protecting the flower."

The newest episode is so weird lol.

every time a Sasuke fan takes a breath, a baby penguin is raped to death by a polar bear.

how do you feel about yourself?

Notwithstanding the fact it'll make zero sense due to story and thematic reasons if Naruto kills Sasuke, but if Naruto kills Sasuke during the fight, how exactly will the Infinite Tsukuyomi be released before everyone becomes a White Zetsu?

lol

It was heavily implied that Naruto would have to kill Sasuke. 🙂

Did you miss that entire arc? Remember...it involved Kakashi, Sakura, Danzo, and Naruto? Ringing a bell, sir? 🙂

Naruto's themes are dumb and worthy of being ignored though.

When Naruto let Sasuke go rather than fight him specifically not to have to kill him?

Sasuke should have just left without saying a single word.

👆

He spent an awful lot of effort fooling everyone only to waste the element of surprise.

You mean the part where Naruto almost directly stated that the next time they clash, he will kill Sasuke? That part? Yeah, I remember that. 🙂

He never said that. He said "we're both gonna die."

Which leads me to believe Naruto will allow himself to be killed and Sasuke will bring him back with Rinne Tensei. Such a lame possibility but it fits with the statement.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Sasuke will kill all the kages, then Naruto will kill Sasuke.

And then the last chapter in the manga will end with a splash panel of Naruto and the others staring forlornly at the ground in front of Sasuke's corpse, Sakura sobbing in the background, while it rains and a little 'thanks for reading' hovers in the corner of the last panel.

Why do you want the Kage to all die? mmm
