How can Sasuke know which ones are the Kage?

I mean I guess he could just sit them all on fire and let 'em burn.

They're all wrapped up in like a cocoon thing. How does he know who the Kage are?

He can see chakra, that should identify them.

But, yeah, we've known for 150+ (maybe 200+) chapters that Naruto was going to kill Sasuke the next time the clashed. That's what you were supposed to take away.

Destroy all the cocoons on the battlefield.

If Sasuke wanted to start a revolution why not just genjutsu all of the Kages like Madara did with Yagura? That way he could still be a Kage w/o actually having to be a Kage.

There are people who can notice if people are being controlled by genjutsu, such as Ao.

I'm trying to remember if any Uchiha has trapped targets using ocular genjutsu without the need for direct line of sight (Infinite Tsukuyomi notwithstanding).

There's Danzo using Koto and Itachi using Izanami IIRC.

He could always use it on a village with virtually no genjutsu specialist like Suna. He could use Gaara to be Kazekage for a day right?

... It sounds like it'd be easier to just kill the kages. lol

I guess he's thinking that he can spin himself as the ultimate savior who defeated Madara and Kaguya and saved the world from Infinite Tsukuyomi and then everyone will love him and elect him Ninja King and he'll be a much better ruler than the Kages because its not as if he has literal brain problems or anything.

I still don't see why Sasuke feels he has to kill the Kages to change the Kage system though. It's not like any of the current Kages, barring Onoki, have actually screwed up the present ninja world...least not significantly.

Izanami specifically does not need eye contact (bleh), and we weren't shown Danzou using Kotoamatsukami.
