Listen to this (the whole thing) and tell me what you think. It has the growly stuff in it but it is not like other metal growl stuff. 🙂

I'd have sent this:
I really do hope Orochimaru and team Taka are in the side stories, they're the biggest hanging threads.

All in all, it might have been best to save the children and marriages COMPLETELY for the continuation. I would have ended this part of Naruto alluding to the future instead of showing it similar to how full metal alchemist brotherhood did.
Aw heck no, in a series about passing on to the next generation, you need the next generation! Too many series end with a weak allusion to the future that leaves them with a weak ending.
Also I completely love a good epilogue.

Did anyone ever think about sai and ino having a kid what was going on? Like sai looked ino saying "I read in books we're supposed to do it like this and does it always look like that?"or even sai moitonless face doing it.
One, I'm pretty sure Ino would help tell him what to do. Two, he *is* learning emotions, so I bet he could show it on his face at the time 🙂

Glad based separated it out:Part 1: B
Par 2: C+
I might go B+ and C+, but yea.
Part 2 is I feel, underrated. It had weak parts, without a doubt. It also had character development, more world building, and some very very cool fights.
Heck, the Akatsuki? Almost all part 2, and a lot of them were great villains.
And even the weak parts weren't all that bad.

The Sage tools have been degraded to display items at TenTen's shop: though it was nice of Kumo to do her a solid and let her keep them.
I wonder what Ninja Law is there. "If someone defects, and then you kill them, you get to keep their gear," by the looks of it!

Shippuden was decent all the way up to the war and I'll say serviceable up to Madara's fights. But the end of this somewhat historic manga was so bad that it ruined everything about part II. Literally everything. Nothing these past few months was enjoyable. The prior parts part II weren't amazing, but it was worth a read. Now that I'm at the end I'm going to obviously ****ing finish it.
Here's a question: Were the last few months actively *bad*, do they have moments that actually invalidate or make prior good moments not as good, or were they simply dull/not interesting to you?
I have seen series that have ending revelations that actively harm what comes before- reveals that change the context of prior cool stuff in bad ways, character shifts that make one really dislike previous liked characters, and so on. I didn't get that here, to me.
(I didn't mind the ending fights, I just felt it was dragged out too long. Cut 'em in half and you're good)

Thats the thing tho its not REALLY ending yet. Theyre continuing with the next generation. I want to see their future too but they should have saved it ALL for the next part.
Originally posted by marwash22That shit is annoying, but not as annoying as the fact that it feels like we all got cheated out of maybe 20 chapters in between 699 and 700. It's a time skip sure but at LEAST give us Naruto's goddamn coronation.....like
Oro was the "it" Sasuke thought he was imagining.you know damn well he's still wants that young tender body.
The BASIC premise of this series was a loser-type becoming the #1 guy in the manga but that part was kinda skipped. Pretty lame if you ask me.
Kishi reaaally just was like "yeah umm, my pops is about to kick the bucket and this manga thing is kinda not a priority" (about 2 years ago).
This finale was padded with pairings and little actual substance.
Naruto broke the cycle of hatred and got the respect of everyone. The actual coronation day doesn't matter that much, does it?
... come to think of it, they don't seem to make a big deal of coronations. Tsunade didn't seem to get a big day. Kakashi-before-Tsunade-woke-up seemed to just get a 'Daimyo says he's it in front of the council.'

Eh, *this story* ends here, and showing the next gen is part of it. The next gen, additionally, has their own stories.
Originally posted by yungz22part 1 had passion infused into it. Part 2 started good but then the Tobi heel turn started the spiral descent down the toilet bowl. Like his plot line really hurt all the other parts that were going well and took so much literary resources that the whole ending of the manga was damaged. powerscaling also took away from what made the manga cool at first.
What letter grade would you guys give naruto as a whole?Id give it a c+ when comparing it to other manga
A lot of great and dare I say, Immortal characters were created but his final execution of the story veered off it's apparent original path (from my point of view) and for the moment as it's still fresh it feels kinda like a bait and switch. Um, yeah, I really with it stayed as grimey as part one and the start of part 2 with all the hand-to-hand ninja fights and the sense of danger. Character development stagnated for the original cast for the most part.
If only Obito "stayed" dead....
Grade: C+

Naruto did have the arc where he was leading the entire Shinobi Alliance.
Actually, I was a bit surprised his position was *only* Hokage...
