Sakura's been kind of captured. Sasuke shows signs of kind of caring about his kids and Naruto is pretty much confirmed to be kind of weaker than his EoS self. Oh and ChouChou doesn't do as much
Maybe its the translation but the dialogue made it seems like Team 7 was trying just a little too hard to sound like adults: or it could just be me.
It was a smart fight, the one with brain over brawn, the old kishi way, until Sasuke stops those blades with his body. I mean, yes you love your daughter but you have got zillion ways, to stop physical attacks. Shinra tensei, susanoo, off the top of my head. And Sakura has been strong in physical damage, that we know, but how the hell can she jump like that on Multi sharingan eyed guy. That just doesnt sit well.
Kishi please dont insult us like this.
Sasuke: "Ah...I got stabbed with knives and can't move!!"
Me: "You have eye powers, idiot! Just freaking look in his general direction and you win! Actually...how did you even get hit in the first place? What happened to Susano'o?"

Cool chapter, but I have two huge issues with it:
1. Shin Celebi took direct hit from fireball the size of a BUILDING, but his body wasn't charred beyond recognition? Honestly, his skin and bones should been reduced to dust, and blood burnt to ash, WTF ??
2. Sasuke not using Shinra Tensei (Susano'o, Amaterasu, any Six Paths technique, hell EVEN Chidori would've ended the fight right away) to completely overwhelm these FAKE Uchiha fodder! And he did not use a Shadow Clone to protect Sarada? Looks like Sasuke and Naruto need another Ninja War to get their heads back in the game !!

Sakura was literally been acting her usual...Sakura-ness. Sasuke and Naruto screwed up badly this time, though...like, brain-fart-never-tell-this-story-to-anyone-I-can't-believe-I'm-this-stupid level of screw up.

I was also wondering why Sasuke didn't use Susano'o when he jumped in front of Sarada. Even if he can't use PS anymore, he can still summon a ribcage--maybe dark powers like that aren't his style anymore? Who knows.
So the Shin(s), as predicted, aren't the enemy that Sasuke spoke of. That little guy, though...
Also, the little guy didn't capture Sakura, he killed the defeated Shins and left. Also, since when has a reguar fireball jutsu incinerated any mangekyou-level ninja? 😛
Okay, so upon re-inspection, it looks like Shin Uchiha's power is almost exactly like Zommari Leroux's. Whatever he touches with that curse mark, he can control the movements of with his Mangekyou Sharingan, not just weapons. That's how he shielded himself from the fireball with Jr!Shin, if that wasn't obvious.
What I'm wondering is why Shin didn't use Izanagi when Sakura nailed him, instead of asking her to do a transplant for him.
Also, I stand by my stance that the mini-Juubi is more relevant than Shin, a Black Zetsu to his Madara tbh.
I kinda hope we get to see some of Sasuke using the generic Preta/Deva path powers to some degree rather than using his Rinnegan purely for advanced substitution. Again, though, it's understandable that Sasuke wouldn't be using Susano'o, Tsukuyomi, or Amaterasu at this point tbh.
On Naruto's end, is he just a worthless fvcking ninja at this point? I'm not talking about his overall power, but seriously... Do you really need Kurama's power to evade shuriken? I would think that he'd stick to the SM/Frog Kumite/Rasengan recipe for lesser opponents, but nope, the moment he starts fighting some random he goes Kurama Mode lol.
I really don't mind them being weaker- as frankly they were so strong by the end of the manga that the narrative wouldn't be able to keep up without having an even more retarded power-creep.
I have only two complaints about this chapter, one being that it was hard to understand what was going on in some of the panels, and the other (more minor) being that I kind of wish the sharingan's predictive capabilities were emphasized again. They stopped being relevant like 5 years ago in real time, but I find it hard to believe that every single opponent an Uchiha fights just happens to be fast enough to nullify it completely.
Otherwise, the chapter was pretty decent. Chouchou still sucks and is a useless character and I'm not going to enable you guys' shit tastes by relenting otherwise.
