Speaking of ChoCho, isn't she tagging along on a Sasuke retrieval mission of sorts just like Choji. Though she seems to fairing a lot better on her route than he did, I wonder if she'll just provide commentary for the rest of it.

So moving passed the red herring, why the f*ck is Orochimaru allowed to.... live? Or do anything at all? Why is Naruto ok with him experimenting on innocent people and continuing to steal peoples bodies?
And why are the people who Orochimaru experimented on as children working for him again? Didn't he kidnap, abuse and torture them? WTF? He's not kindly old Dr Snakes, he's literally an inhuman monster who needs to be imprisoned because clearly he's still doing terrible things like making Uchiha armies and dangerous shit.
Well I'm pretty sure Jugo went voluntarily but I have no idea why Suigetsu is there. Also maybe Orochimaru's new bishie form doesn't use bodies or is taking a page out of Tsunade's book for appearances.
I do like how this conflict appears to all be Orochimaru's fault even if it was unintended.

edit- Having read the new chapter, if Konoha has been mostly aware of Orochimaru's hideout this whole time, why haven't they just killed him?
No one in particular.
As for Orochimaru I dunno why they haven't bothered killing him. My guess is he hasn't done anything evil since the war(since Shin had to have known Itachi) and they just let him be because of the Edokage. His casual, nonthreatening demeanor might speak to a change of heart.
But he and Kabuto really should just be executed. I'm also not sure why Taka didn't join with the Leaf and instead decided to partner up with that psychopath. Both of them have criminal records that put Sasuke to shame and at least he was kinda punished by losing an arm/banishment. And just because Orochimaru can't be observed doing evil things doesn't mean he isn't being evil.
Unless this is supposed to like home arrest or something?

As for Orochimaru. I figured it'd be for the same reason that both Hiruzen and Tsunade left him alone as Orochimaru should still be powerful in his own right. Though Naruto/Sasuke showing up all nonchalant does complicate things.
If Sasuke and Karin are both Sarada's parents then Karin is a worse parent than Sasuke bro lol. Sasuke at least was doing something worth while and did take a hit for her. Karin hasn't been in Sarada's life at all.
The real question is why Sarada had no birth records in Konoha and why Sakura kept the Taka picture.
