Dude, wtf is wrong with you? You broke my post up into short fragments even when it was not necessary, ergo making it more difficult to read.

You should because the basic definition from dictionary.com agrees with him. 😐No, it wouldn't. Kishi used the main definition, obviously. Kishi also has many choices of interpretations. Teleportation was not what you thought it was. You're wrong. Real world and fantasy world.
Great. All of them are wrong in context. You failed.
You mean "compared."
No, he uses a space/time jutsu which is specifically NOT teleporting.
Sorry, you're wrong again. He uses space/time manipulation to phase certain parts of his body of out existence and back in. He doesn't teleport by changing some matter into energy and placing it somewhere else in this plane.
And real world. You're forgetting that teleportation is turning matter into energy so it can be moved at the speed of light to another location. Sci-fi stuff.
You are correct.
You're still wrong.
Here, read this, newb.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teleportation
"Teleportation is the transfer of matter from one place to another, more or less instantaneously, either by paranormal means or through technological artifice. Teleportation has been widely utilized in works of science fiction."
Kishi is right on both accounts and your are wrong on both accounts.
Which is wrong. Your point was never right, no matter how many times you say it. It was wrong from the beginning.
You're wrong.
Madara is NOT teleporting, according to "IRL definitions".
There's not need to because he's right. You can never change that. With so much evidence stacked against you coupled with the fact that it is fiction (lending itself even more to the primary/commonly used version of teleportation) makes you wrong on all fronts. Kishi is right. You're wrong. You were wrong about that stuff up about what Kakashi said, as well.
Now, you really do need to.....
SUCK IT SUCK IT SUCK IT!
Pwned!
pwn3d!
thhthhhthhbbhbhbhththbhbhbhbhbththbhtbhtbhtbhtbhtbh!
Neenars neenars neenars! 😛
Kishimoto used one definition, words don't always have one definition though, and btw, the main definition does not imply teleportation is movement, only that it dematerializes.
How are all wrong in context? Considering all are real definitions of the word teleportation, and Madara's jutsu falls in line with several.
Hm. Weird. Thought it was opposite.
He uses Space/Time jutsu to teleport. It is by definition teleporting.
And that has the effect of making him intangible, and teleporting him. Teleportation is not as narrow of a definition as you are asserting.
No, it is not, that is one overtly specific definition, not all of them.
That little failure wiki article just proved me right, all Madara does is transfer matter, himself, to another location. Nothing proves me wrong.
No, it was not, you are narrowing the definition of teleportation into one specific singular meaning, it is not that narrow of a definition, it means a variety of things.
If the definition you posted was the only definition of teleportation, you would be right. But it's not, so you are incorrect in your assertion that I am wrong. Kishimoto can call it whatever the hell he wants, it is teleportation, I proved it was teleportation, get over yourself and concede that it is teleportation.

Because I had responses to specific statements/phrases. That happens on a message board. It would help if you know how to do quote tags. Like I said, I'll make a video for you and put it up on youtube.

It doesn't really matter that several of the definitions help your point when the main definition is the one being used AND that one disagrees with you. Since the Manga made quite clear to distinguish it is NOT a teleportation, you have no choice but to accept the main definition as the one being used. No matter how many ways you slice it, you're wrong. Even if he used the word incorrectly, that word can have any meaning in his fantasy universe.

Doesn't really matter when it is explicitly clear which definition was used. 😉

Main definition is by no means a narrow use.

You are missing one very key element: It is turning matter into energy so you can transfer it at the speed of light and then re-materializing that energy back into the original matter. That was made quite clear and you missed that.

No, you are broadening the definition so you can be right.

Luckily, there's this thing called context. This allows context to equate to understood vernacular.

Quote tags?
Dude, this entire argument stemmed from me saying Madara teleports.
Going by its definitions, Madara is doing a form of teleport.
I don't care what Kishimoto called it. I really do not. Because for the sake of posting on a forum and since teleport is easier to say than he uses a time/space jutsu to leave and re-enter reality in an instant. And I am correct in my usage of it. Not correct in Kishi's Narutoverse, but on a message board the word teleport is a more than adequate way to convey what he does.
You are arguing that I am wrong by Narutoverse standards. And I am. I don't dispute that.
But I am not wrong in my usage as a description of Madara's power.

You are wrong outside of the Narutoverse and I've explained why. Refute that, please.

Part of Speech: v

I've already posted my definition, and cited the source. I've also posted the Wiki article which opens with the main definition. It is a sci fi term. You can read all about the etymology and it's origins. It is quite simply, turning matter into energy, and moving that energy and then turning it back into matter. Gene Rodenberry pretty much solidified the use of teleportation.
Also, that definition does mention two fantasy or sci fi uses. Technological means, or psychic means. Madara didn't do/use either. 😐
Edit- Yes, I was rather excited about how Naruto was pwning Pain.
Like I said, he will probably start to lose really bad and then start to win. He may even be captured, but may still win after getting captured.
Don't forget, Killer Bee still said he would destroy Konoha. He could come at any moment and save the day. Then there's Saucegay who could potentially show up.
