Stupid links work like crap in IE.

even if that "tree" wasn't made of paper, it's still modeled after a frickin' giant sequoia..... it's bound to draw attention just by how much it sticks out like a sore thumb.

....i dunno, kishi better explain why they're hidding in a fake tree.

Still it would be easy to find for a Byakugan user. Didn't say they could find it from Konoha but it would be easy to find quickly. They know the general area, and Neji isn't the most skilled Byakugan user in Konoha. There are probably many in the main branch just as skilled, and a few more skilled though not many.

Yeah. For a byuakugan user, they would see a "mysterious" trail of chakra traveling from a specific location, to each communication "node" on each body. That would make it extremely easy to figure out that there is a source and some who is a "genius" like Neji could quickly figure out that the body's were being controlled.

Alas, Kishimoto had to write in some PIS in order to make the story progress. Toriyama had to do it in DB because he made them too powerful...so each successive arc required a depowerment.

ok, i don't mean to sound like a noob but, what does "PIS" mean? i've noticed it alot latley

and one of the things i like about Naruto is that there are no ridiculously high power levels, just techniques and strategy, someone with high chakra can be beaten by someone with low chakra

PIS means Plot Induced Stupidity.

Well they may be able to see the general direction from the rods but he was probably to far away for them to see where it actually went. But the general direction may be a huge help. Though the people with the bright idea to go to the source weren't even around Pein, and didn't have a Byakugan user at first.

Didn't they say he changed the paths too often to follow?

This point only works if Naruto couldn't follow it. Hence, it's PIS.

Naturo followed it directly because he was in direct contact with the rods. Plus he is in sage mode using the natural energy around. I think gives him an upper hand in that.

Right..but then...there's the stupid idea that the "paths" keep changing directions.

Chakra is chakra is chakra. The chakra gets to the rods in the same way, regardless if Naruto is sensing it flow to the rod, or if Neji is watching it flow to the rod.

Now, if Kishimoto wants to write something into the story about it being some sort of natural genjutsu type of technique that sage mode is immune to but Kekai Ghenkai's are not, then I would agree with you.

Meh, I'm content with callin' it PIS and just forgetting about it.

THat was Inoichi though. Not a Byakugan user or anything. Wasn't it?

I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to look it up.

It most likely was Ino's father.

Why oh why does Kishimoto drag out arcs >.>?

Eh it can drag out as long as it wants as long as it keeps away from Sasuke. It may be Naruto's big battle but at least we get to see Konoha ninja.

and Kakashi?

it hasn't been confirmed whether he's dead or alive yet, last time we saw him katsuyu was covering his body after shinra tensei hinting that he might still be worth saving

Meh, dragging out is one thing, but using flashbacks for a bit of the dragging out is a little irritating. Sadly the Konoha ninja didn't relatively do much against Pain, though we finally got to see Neji & co. How I wished he & Lee had fought.

He's going to eventually get back to Sasuke 😛, no denying that.

oh man i cant wait to see what will happen against sasuke

Yea..I'm still wondering when Inoichi became a chakra sensor.

Well I think it's been all but confirmed. Tsunade not telling Chouji anything about Kakashi, Naruto not feeling Kakashi then saying I understand, Nobody going over to heal Kakashi. If he does come back I'll be surprised really.

I do think if they were going to drag it on so long he could've at least showed Shino fighting Konan, and Kiba fighting that one body. They didn't fight much but they still fought.

Yea, sadly. Maybe the next time we see Sasuke he'll realize how stupid he's been after seeing Konoha's destruction.

I wonder what Naruto is going to do with Nagato. It'll suck if it ends in Nagato's death but Naruto's seem to have lost his hopeless optimism that has changed many people so I don't see him able to change Nagato without that. He still has his optimism sure but it's nothing compared to Part 1.

Shikamaru should have been given a substantial fight, watching him fight is great.

Or get angry at Nagato for beating him to it.

Nagato's probably done fighting, given that his most powerful path was destroyed. Naruto will come up with some way to convince him, or will probably just outright join his cause but convince Nagato to quit the Akatsuki.

why would he ask him to quit? Naruto still thinks Nagato is the leader
