Itachi didn't require a seal to give Sasuke his MS and abilities. It's a further stretch...but not by far...but it's possible that he sealed an essence of himself into Sasuke (no homo) in a very similar way or at the same time he sealed his powers into Sasuke.
hey guys... i'm a newbie here so: Hi nice to "meet" you.
i really loved the character sasuke at the beginning of the serie but now he is getting more and more unsympathetic and i really thought he would be sooo strong but appearantly not THAT strong ( not as strong as naruto--> at least that is what that akatsuki guy was assuming in the presence of madara)... so sasuke is a little bit a dissapointment for me and its kind of exiting seeing this new side of naruto ( not telling anybody about itachi and his meeting, struggeling about sasuke...even hyperventilating ).
But than again it hurts to see how much the distance between naruto and sasuke grows and i really dont wont naruto to go back on his words to bring sasuke back (alive). i really hope for an happy end....(Althoug i'm pretty sure i wont get that.. ) 🙁 I mean i would like naruto to be more serious after all that pain he goes truogh with sasuke and jiraya.
ah! and it was really time that sakura stoped relying on naruto so much but telling himshe loves him if she doesnt is totally unfair and she disgusts me. good that naruto saw through that. Well I think this all heads to a scenario where naruto fights sasuke again and than whatever Itachi implanted in naruto is gonna appear...sorry for all that writing i just had to get that all out....i thought i was gonna explode...and actually i'm more worried about the whole team 7 thing than about danzou or whats going on with this sharingans on his arm, because i dont think i'm gonna find that out , at least i think whatever theory i have it will be probably wrong anyway...^^ (guess i leave those thinking to you)... if there are words ore senetences that are strange or you dont undersand let me know...i'm not totally bad in english but not that good either. i would really like to know how you think about all that what happens in naruto....
what do you think about sakura and how she behaves (did she really just realist that naruto loves her when sai told her? that makes her kinda look dumb..and anyway... this false loveconfesson...that is so beside it.
do you think there is gonna be a happy ending with sasuke and naruto? i really hope so but honestly i think naruto is gonna kill sasuke in the end (man i hope i'm wrong!).
What is up, dgrayman1991.

It seems you will fit in nicely in this Naruto thread.
Also, to help with the quality of your posts, specifically, your spelling, download firefox and start using that as your web browser. Firefox will flag incorrectly spelled words, for you: very similar to Microsoft Word. Also, try capitalizing words that need to be capitalized such as the first word in a sentence, names of people and places (proper nouns), the letter "I" when using it as a pronoun, etc. Doing these simple things will improve the quality of your posts, making you appear more intelligent/educated. You'll be taken more seriously and not appear to be a "newb" as it's called. The forums can sometimes be harsh on new people. Take this advice and do your best, but don't go overboard.
I look forward to your thoughts on Naruto chapters, as they are released.

According to Madara, all he did was set Amaterasu to activate at the sight of Madara's Sharingan + transfer Itachi's Sharingan techniques. He never gave him his MS. Sasuke should have the EMS right now if that were the case.
It is quite a stretch. Abilities is one thing, but part of your soul is another.
Though yeah, it seems plausible as I'm not entirely sure the 4th used a seal for it.

So how did Sasuke get his other eye techniques? Itachi most definitely was NOT Sasuke's best friend. I could have sworn Sasuke got the MS from Itachi when Itachi touched him at the end.
Also, if Itachi did give him the MS, it definitely would not be the MS. That would have required Itachi actually taking out his eyes, replacing Sasuke's, and healing them in place.

Thank you very much for the advice, dadudemon!I am gladly taking it. I have never been a member in a Forum before.
I am really relieved right now that I got a response and even advice.
That helps a lot. Thank you.
You bet, dude. 👆
I wish someone would have taken the time to tell me those things when I first started posting on message boards when I was 16. I had to figure it out the hard way from jerks on the internet.
What are your thoughts on what Demonic Phoenix and I are talking about? How did Sasuke get the Mangekyo Sharingan if Itachi didn't give it to him? We know that Kakashi got his in a way not yet revealed, but surely Kakshi did NOT kill his best friend to unlock his.

I thought I agreed that Itachi gave Sasuke the MS techniques with that poke >__>. Sasuke never got his own MS from that poke. Otherwise, his eyes would have taken on the appearance of his MS, and not Itachi's, when that Amaterasu was used on Madara.
It doesn't necessarily have to be your best friend IMO. While Itachi was not his best friend in a manner of speaking, he definitely WAS the person who had been closest to Sasuke. I feel that even Naruto wasn't as close as Itachi had once been.
Once Sasuke realized that Itachi was truly that person (loving brother/friend) and not the person he thought he was (merciless bastard), he unlocked his own MS with the loss he felt at his brother's death.
Also, the Sharingan is unlocked whenever an Uchiha has an extreme amount of any emotion. It is logical that since the MS is a higher version, it would require extreme amounts of a specific emotion, in this case, loss.
Kakashi's MS is a unique case. So far, he hasn't even demonstrated any of the side-effects IIRC. Or it's possible he truly felt the loss of those close to him during the TS.

Wait a moment. I'm a little confused. Do you think Sasuke received Itachi's MS from that poke? Or do you think Sasuke was able to get his own MS from Itachi?
If the latter, I've answered above.
If the former, I'll take back what I said about the EMS thing and I'll say that it's a little murky:
Itachi's MS was the one that appeared when Madara showed Sasuke his Sharingan, but the Amaterasu came out of Sasuke's left eye, as opposed to coming out of the right eye as is the case with Itachi.
You also have to remember that the Amaterasu was not controlled by Sasuke's will. It was probably a one-time shot, because Itachi thought the Amaterasu would kill Madara.
Though this is what I now theorize:
Itachi foresaw that Madara would approach Sasuke, and planned for it by sealing his own MS in Sasuke (this was to give him more power as he didn't expect Madara to tell Sasuke the truth which would lead to Sasuke's own MS) and programming it to use Amaterasu whenever Madara's Sharingan was in the field of view (to stop Madara from ever revealing the truth, regardless of whether he avoided it or not).
Based on this, while it is possible that Sasuke could use the MS that Itachi had, it would be pointless now as he has his own MS (which he unlocked through the
old fashioned route).

Okay. I can agree with that. It does say in the manga that Itachi gave Sasuke his MS techniques which include: Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o.
As far as GIVING Sasuke the MS itself, it's possible that you're correct with the Itachi loss/realization thing. That would explain how Sasuke got his MS.

I made a typo.
It's supposed to read:
"Also, if Itachi did give him the MS, it definitely would not be the EMS."
Also, I have a theory as to why Sasuke's ability with the Amaterasu, Susano'o, etc...are in reverse. Itachi was facing Sasuke when he gave those abilities to him. Since he was facing him, the abilities would manifest in the opposite side.
Originally posted by Demonic PhoenixKakashi specifically asks Itachi when they meet in Shippuden how much Itachi's eyesight has deteriorated. So I'm sure he has the side-effects also. He just doesn't use it at all except in very dire situations.

Glad we've gotten that out of the way.
IMO, the power-hungry Uchiha killing best friends was just a short-cut to gaining the MS. They viewed their best friend as the closest person in their lives, then they killed them and once they felt the loss, they unlocked their MS. If they waited for that person to die and then felt the loss, they'd unlock their MS, but much later, hence the 'short-cut' idea.

It was an obvious typo, so I didn't bother to bring it up. Rather, I took the liberty of stating my thoughts on the appearance of Itachi's MS when Sasuke first used Amaterasu.

It's a simple enough theory 🙂. More often than not, the simplest ones are the correct ones...I don't even have a theory on that >__>.
As far as the actual details in Shinto go, Amaterasu was born (came out; no connotations) from Izanagi's left eye, while Tsukiyomi came from Izanagi's right. That probably bears relevance here as well, seeing as how the jutsu in question are named after said Shinto deities.

Person A is perfectly healthy, is not sick in any way, and knows what the symptoms of Swine Flu are. Does that however, mean he absolutely has Swine Flu?
Knowledge of a disease/side-effect doesn't necessarily mean a person has said disease/side-effect 😬.
Originally posted by Demonic Phoenix🤨 It's not like anybody except MS users have any idea about it's side-effects. Kakashi didn't suddenly hear about it or read about it. And Itachi running away after using the MS attacks wouldn't lead to anybody thinking anything except it drains his chakra. Having knowledge on a disease that is talked about is nothing like MS side-effects.

I never thought Sasuke had any unique MS jutsu. I figured, it's just his standard abilities.
