Sasuke runs through Danzo and Danzo tries to use Izanagi but it doesn't work. Back when he used Tsukuyomi and Danzo escaped, Sasuke put an illusion in Danzo that one of his eyes was still open when it was actually closed, and so Danzo thought he still had Izanagi active when really it had run out.

This didn't kill Danzo, he goes crazy and starts using Mokuton and Shisui's eye which has recharged. Sasuke just beats him up however. Then he takes Karin hostage, but Sasuke just kills both of them with Chidori.

Apparently Madara wants Sasuke to take Shisui's eye to get EMS.

Yeah, this looks pretty stupid. I give credit to Sasuke for using his brain somewhat to trick Danzo, but I have to say it's one of the lamest attempts at a "trick" in the whole manga. Certainly no Shikamaru, though I guess it's better than spamming amaterasu.

I'm really hoping Danzo survives somehow.

Hope not, then sasgay will develop yet another plot device no jutsu that will make want to slap the shit out of kishimoto and/or have whatever he's on when writing this crap

Bit of a dick move on Sasukes part, though I can't decide if this chapter qualifies as an ass pull or not...

Yeah, but Danzo is cool and Sasuke is fail. Killing Danzo to boost Sasuke is about the dumbest thing Kishi could have done. So i'm hoping, at least Danzo gets away to fight another day. Maybe Mizukage who was following him will intervene.

I like Danzo too, the fact that he believes his actions are for the sake of the leaf village allows him to get away with some cut throat stuff. The same goes to sasgay but ever since he started getting really random and powerful jutsus I started to hate the character and series in general was going. Too much too soon at the expense of story and potential good characters 🙁

We must have faith... Kishi must have a plan for the plot no jutsu just wait and remember that naruto is the main character

Personally this manga is going really up and down lately, and it follows a pattern...

Jiraiya vs Pain: Badass

Sasuke vs. Itachi: Lame

Kirabi vs Sasuke: badass

Naruto vs Pein: Lame (mainly the ending)

Sasuke vs Kages: Badass

Kirabi vs Kisame: Lame

Sasuke vs Danzo: Was badass but is now in grave risk of being lame.

Temari also needs another fight, we should see moar of her smarts in action. She just needs more provocative clothing though, and a hair-cut 😛.

I know, Kishi just needs to give Tenten speed that is close to Lee/Gai/Sasuke-level speed, and she could be very dangerous (Kunai to the neck/other major artery/organ etc.).

Perhaps...though you wouldn't think any of those moves he used with the snakes and all that would be gone with Oro. He just doesn't use them anymore.

What's up with Sasuke having one eye MS and the other not even having sharingan on? I really can't decide who I want to win this....But hahaha another person loosing an arm. Danzo has an eye he's so proud of that is extremely adept at casting genjutsu that he believes it will work on even Madara, Sasuke can't have won this yet.

No basic genjutsu gets him and he starts blurting out nonsense. Why is he even trying to justify his actions to a god damned 15 year old?

Just read it on onemanga... I don't see why Danzo couldn't just burn the last eye on Izanagi and escape again. I mean, he couldn't take out Madara then... but he'd be alive. And I mean, the whole clan's eyes went to him, so shouldn't he have tons of them preserved and could re-implant himself?

Not to mention, he should have Shisui's left eye as well, so even that could be replaced... if he tracks down Kabuto that is.

😛 Madara ran away cause of Shino. He just used Sasuke as an excuse. He realized he would be useless against the bugs and their supreme awesomeness.

You've got it wrong, Torune joined Root because he didn't want the Aburame clan to start worshipping the awesomeness of his bugs.

Nahh, Madara likes the Aburame clan too much, he didn't want to humiliate Shino😛

Agreed. It's a pity Kishimoto is neglecting such an awesome character like Temari. The only thing that stops her from becoming pure WIN is her haircut.

Also, when you ignore those 4 pony-tails, she kinda looks like Sai IMO.
