zetsu made the switch under water, pretty sure kisame wasn't winning at that point so a huge power difference over the clone isn't certain.
the real kisame was about to die before merging with the sword, then the switch occured during the water jutsu.
now samahada likes b and even gave him chackra (to kisame's chagrin) so it's not going to be the same fight this time since kisame should be out of a sword (again unless kishi thinks it's funny to troll by having samahada + kisame put on a show)
samahada is kisame's trump card and that's in flux at the moment, and we've seen it's chackra absorbtion limit against version 2.
And it's not like Killer Bee went totally all out either, since his location was preventing him from going full eight-tails.
Psycho did you catch the ending to the six tails arc? What a load of shit, I waited this whole time for Pein to appear and then he only shows up for 10 seconds max and beats Utakata in one shot. Man that was a disappointment.
Originally posted by King KandyThe thing is though that the Kisame that Samehada rejected was the clone so its likely hasn't truly rejected Kisame but instead has given a liking to Bee. but Kisame wanted to be with Bee for spying anyways so he probably doesn't care.
Yeah but I mean, he's going to kill the person it's taken such a liking to.
Originally posted by Kentohe's the 8-yails after all, that's a huge reservoir of chackra that's rare, even kisame doesn't have enough as that (as evident when it went to bee and then kisame kicked it)
So I wonder if Samehada went to Bee simply cause Zetsu's Kisame clone was so much weaker, and not enough to satisfy him. Or if Samehada would've went to Bee anyway.
Originally posted by Astneroh yeah, as if spamming all mangekyo techs wasn't enough, now he gets another one and infinite usage. facepalm
So we learned that Sasuke's about to transplant Itachi's eyes. Any speculation regarding the 4th broken Mangekyo technique?
wonder what would happen if he used izanagi
I'm loving naruto more and more, as of late.
It's starting to feel more like the "roots" of naruto.
I hope that Kabutomaru becomes the ultimate villain. I hope this thing between Sasuke and Naruto is not the end all be all of everything. I hope that gets resolved in the next 100 chapters with the final 100 chapters focusing on Madar...then a bonus 50 chapters having Kabutomaru as the ultimate Villain. I liked Oro better as a villain as he seemed to relish doing evil things more than Madara. Madara is more of a gray area, imo. Sure, world domination...bla bla bla. But, he's doing that to stop all wars/violence/crime, and bring peace to the Earth. That's kind of hard to say he's evil...the only evil thing about that is the genjutsu tricking everyone into being good.
Danzou...did underhanded things for what he thought was for the best of the village. Oro was pretty much the only one that did things completely selfish for himself, just to get more powerful. He's really the ultimate villain in this series, and now he has Kabuto.
Things are shaping up to be delcious.
What do you guys think, 200-300 more chapters and then naruto is done?

That's lame! That is very lame. That would be worse than Pein falling for talk no jutsu.
As for Kabuto being the ultimate villian, that would be great if it happened but the Uchiha's always steal the show. Always. Besides Sasuke is the flip-side protagonist so its going to end with him somewhere.
I think I'm pretty much the only one that liked the "talk-no-justu
discussion that Pain and Naruto had...
I thought that was written well, and the characters seemed real. I explained in detail why their discussion was realistic, a long time ago...I think to Kento. It just made sense. And, only Nartuo was capable of having that discussion as they were both Jiraiya's boys...and their "rolls" with their "respective" peers were similar.
No, it's stupid as all hell... Jiraiya himself couldn't convince pein, how does his "legacy" somehow be more persuasive. Still, it was OK until Naruto pulled out that BULLSHIT book Jiraiya wrote... which Nagato had already read.
Although I admit, I had misinterpreted it the first time I read it in a way that made it even dumber, which might have colored my feelings.
Originally posted by King KandyDid Jiraiya even try to convince Nagato? All I remember is him asking why he changed. Never trying to change him.
Jiraiya himself couldn't convince pein
Originally posted by dadudemonIts exactly what I was expecting. But yea I didn't hate it either. I would have much more preferred a Gaara turning good type fight scene instead though.

Ask the millions of teens that listen to their peers rather than their parents: one of them might tell ya.
Also, part of Pain was very saddened at Jiraiya's loss. Pain loved Jiraiya like a father.

Some people lose themselves in ostentatious, tunnel-visioned ideals, losing track of who they really are and where they came from.
All Naruto did was give Pain a very rude awakening.
Also, it seems you missed the entire conversation that took place after the book was brought out. You focused too much on the portions leading up to the book, but not at all to the things that happened afterwards.

AHA!
😆
I'll go into the details again, if you want. To me, it was all very logical and very much in character for Pain.
