Kishi pretty much referenced Part 1 when he had Sakura become a Damsel in Distress twice in her latest 'fight'.

naruto and sasuke seemingly have infinite chackra these days. lee, neji, sakura, etc have to you know...fight intelligently (part 1 style) before they gas out, one of the cool parts about the old days. now everyone spams, of coarse she looks bad.
that's why the sakura/chiyo vs sasori fight was so cool: there was risk involved as well as strategy. sasori can spam like naruto and sasuke can, but a little ingenuity, preparation, and training went a long way and he was defeated.

How exactly did Sakura's chakra control come from training and being level headed? She's been a genjutsu-type since the beginning of part 1, something that requires excellent chakra control. She's had it since the start of Part 1.
Naruto's the Kyuubi and has Sage mode to back it up. Should be fairly obvious by now that his chakra level is beyond even the Raikage and Kirabi.
Sasuke, meh, you're right here, plot-induced chakra. He was shown to have a large amount in Part 2, before he went gung-ho with the MS.
I don't remember Lee or Neji running out of steam in part 2, but it's been a long time.
Right, because Naruto and Sasuke have never shown ingenuity, nor have they ever trained.
This isn't about her skills as a kunoichi. I've already said I liked her super strength and her medic-skills. The Sasori vs. Sakura + Chiyo fight is in fact one of my favourites.
It's about how imbecilic she's been as a character at certain points.

Even with her level of chakra control, she still has a fairly moderate amount of chakra. It's better suited for the Tsunade combination, rather than a ninjutsu approach. Still, learning ninjutsu wouldn't have hurt.
Yes, but genjutsu + super strength, that's a powerful combination. I mean, just use a fairly effective genjutsu, then punch your opponent to kingdom come.
Kurenai got the short end of the stick in her only fight...putting her up against Itachi? No one in Part 1 could stand up to the dude >__>, apart from Jiraiya apparently.

Shikamaru is like at the low end of the spectrum I think. She's moderate 😛.

Yes, but he also then went and split his chakra in 3, and still used Shiki-Fuujin with less than 1/3 of his chakra. So her being young, and with more stamina even with less chakra than Saru she'd be dangerous.
Eh, only because most missions are done in teams. If she had to do her own mission like Kakashi, and Gai both have then it wouldn't really be.

That move of hers is pretty nasty- immobilize someone, then stab. It'd be good against lots of people, just, y'know, worse than useless against Itachi.

Also for being 'bad' at taijutsu Kabuto was pretty impressive to be able to fight while having to not make a mistake on how to move his body while his nervous system was scrambled.
