Pein;s whole invasion was plot device. I mean look how fast the village reacted when oro invaded but when it came to pein things were totally diferent

Well they sort of new Oro was planning something. They just didn't know when. Pein wasn't expected in general. Plus the trick of thinking it was only one person.

Nah they pretty much knew Pein or somebody would cone to Konohs for Naruto

They responded pretty fast- we saw groups of no-name special jonin attacking the jutsu-absorber very soon, and ninja were also scrambling to attack the summons. The whole thing couldn't have taken all that long from arrival to city bust to Naruto's arrival.

The flashcuts to Naruto's training almost certainly took part quite a bit before the invasion, only matching up in the end. They were interspaced for dramatic effect but the time rates of the two were quite a bit different.

With Orochimaru they had security already in place due to the event, and I think they probably responded a bit slower. Though in a more coordinated fashion, the manner of Pain's attack was unusual.

They also had all their Ninja in the village when the Sound and Sand attacked. Instead of who knows how many off on missions.

I would seriously not be surprised if everything from Pain's entrance to *boom* was under 20 minutes. A lot of stuff was happening simultaneously.

If what you're implying is true, where were some of the high-level Jounin, then?

thats why they send genin and chuunin off to fight dangerous criminals by themselves ermm

That wasn't that interesting of a chapter..... Though now I am curious as to how Bee is able to tame Hachibi, along with all the rest of the animals. 'Cept the squid...

Bee continues on his road to stu-dom. The squid bit was hilarious.

lol nobody was in the village and the root didnt want to help
