Well if it wasn't on Itachi's level then it couldn't have been that bad...even if he did lose a limb. Raikage would still beat the crap out of him if they ever met again. Kishi would mke up some BS to make Sasuke unbeatable but it'll be kind of like Ichigo vs Grimmjow; the outcome is inevitable however they will never be able to live down the ass-kicking they recieved.

Sasuke has Oro's powers meaning Snake Summons, Snake Kiwimari and even the White Snake. That makes him Kage level right there.

Not really....having the same jutsu of somebody stronger doesn't make you on their level. Just means you have moves of a stronger person that you perform at a lower level....

Meh, Sasuke's shown better creativity and tactics when it comes to battling. Taka Sasuke is another matter, since he's just a berserker.
Except Hebi Sasuke was really Kage Level, and not just because of the amp provided by absorbing Oro. He had the CS2, Kirin, all those Chidori variants (which have sadly gone down the chute recently >__>😉 and awesome speed & taijutsu/sword skillz. 😛
Beating scores of basic fodder ninja without a single scratch sustained is still pretty impressive. 313

We've seen Saru fight once, and briefly because he knew it was useless so he used Shiki Fuujin. But his rep makes him on a level of genius few can surpass. Along with the likes of Itachi and Minato.

I think it's hard to judge Asuma's max from what we know, but I also think that's way more than 70 🙂 They're often stacked on top of each other, cover a wide area, and we don't even have the full shot!
Hm, I just noticed those ninja don't have headbands. I wonder if they're Sound, another minor village, or if there exists freelance ninja groups not associated with villages other than missing nin around. Budget ninja.

True enough, though IMO, Asuma would be hard-pressed if he had scores of ninja pressing down on him as he's a close-range fighter. If they attacked him one group at a time in small groups, he could probably go through a lot more.
Probably some sort of special corps? Or freelance ninja like you said.
They all have tantos and vests, so I don't think they'd be genins or inexperienced ninja.
