Sooo...I still wonder if Kushina lives through all of this. Its highly unlikely but it hasn't been confirmed that she's dead so I guess there's some possibility.
Umm...I know that Madara can release and control the most powerful creature in this series but for some reason Pein seems to still be a better villan(or character) to me.
On a side note if it wasn't right after birth and didn't involve his mom, Madara killing Naruto would have been one of the best things ever.(I'm wrong for this)

The 10-tails does not exist, anymore. It's broken and dead body is encased in the moon and it's chakra split into 9 different demons. Each demon has it's own personality and form.
I assume that with that much chakra, the 10-tails would regenerate it's dead body and come back alive, for sure.

Quite right. But the Raikage wouldn't have been much better off. Losing your arm and leg just to take down one opponent. An opponent, powerful though he may be, that you have the advantage over in terms of experience and sheer manliness. He'd never live it down.

As to the spikes, that is an unknown factor. We don't know whether it was 'solid', or whether Raikage's leg would have passed right through.
