It did later on in disguise as Gaara. And really, I really would have enjoyed seeing Raikage be rendered completely useless by blaze style. Losing Sasuke would have been a worthy sacrifice.

Eh Killer Bee being actual good at controlling chakra should've been able to get out of genjutsu himself, besides since Gaara arc we knew people could break other people out of genjutsu. And was that stated?

We've seen Doton wall split a Suiton wave to protect a person, and Suiton whirlpool put out a Katon fireball. But those are also kind of...duh..even if the element blocking or what is the superior one. Water puts out fire, and a huge piece of rock is going to divert water. Wind is really the only element never to be used against another element.

It wasn't explicitly stated. Sasuke did look at Raikage, and he failed to trap him in a genjutsu. C stated that Raikage's synapses were too fast, and Raikage stated that the Sharingan wouldn't work against him. I presume they were talking about genjutsu.
Meh, as it is in Naruto, pretty much any fight is bound to have some sort of factor. Only a handful of major fights are won without some sort of aid or PIS/HAX.

Electricity typically electrocutes stuff in RL. Certain Raiton attacks are also very good at penetrating shit. According to Kisame, Kirabi's pencil had more penetrative force due to a Raiton, than it would have had had Kirabi used a Fuuton.
In my opinion, a Suiton tech putting out a Katon tech makes as much sense as a Raiton tech electrocuting a Doton bomb, or penetrating a Doton wall/armor. srug

Now that Naruto is god-incarnate, he can pretty much nullify Sasuke's attacks.

We already saw what happens when Killerbee tries to beat up Kisame. Kisame either uses Samehada to absorb Bee's chakra and nullify the attack, or he uses Samehada to regenerate his wound.

Bee definitely needed that ridiculous amount of PIS. Without Samehada turning on Kisame like that, he would have lost both the fight, and his legs.
Even if he had released Hachibi, Samehada would likely have reverted Hachibi back into Killerbee. After all, it reverted V2 back into V1.

I like how Aoba showed a neat technique this chapter. Useless in this particular case, but shows special jonin still have their uses. He did a genjutsu before when he showed up as reinforcements against Kakuzu and Hidan too.

Also I think Guy's solidly S-class by this point 🙂 I wonder how pre-kamui Kakashi would've dealt with an attack of this magnitude.

That is the real flaw of this operation: with the addition of Guy, there's not enough common sense to go around 🙂 Motoi has almost enough for Killerbee and Yamato has enough for Naruto, but Aoba does not have nearly enough for Guy.
