Pussy nature?

Is that a new element affinity?

Surprisingly enough, nobody has made a SSJ/Kao-ken joke about Gai in these recent chapter.

I'm just glad Kisame isn't being put down by Naruto as of late.

Hey nao, his Chuunin Exam fight against Sasuke/Naruto was his best fight...particularly the Sasuke portion 😛
Eh, Sasuke's fight against Gaara before Gaara freaks out, and the fight ends was a lame Lee/Gaara match without the epicness that was..the Gaara/Lee match.

I made one, though it isn't much of a joke. Someone here had said that Raikage went Super Saiyan against Sasuke (I think it might have been dadudemon).

Also, Gai is far moar Super Saiyan than Raikage. 😐

Kisame's too uber to be put down by the likes of Killerbee and instead could have put down Killerbee. What makes you think a dumbass like Naruto has any chance against a badass like Kisame?

Bah, you're just letting your Sasuke-hatred get in the way. 😛

Srsly though, the match was almost as epic as the Gaara/Lee match. We had the same speed that Lee demonstrated (W/O gates), and instead of the gates & Lotus, we got Chidori. Ossum.
Then Gaara had to wreck the epicness by running away because he was scared and hurt.

Hmm... nah. When Rock Lee went all uber speed people were like "omg no waiii!" And then when Sasuke did it people were like "Wait... I thought that was Rock Lee's thing. **** you Sharingan!"

Well, it functions differently. The gate opening is almost always associated with a specific move.

😆

Besides when Lee dropped his weights there was that whole 'Bwahahah few weights won't do nothing' thing followed by *GASP*.

The whole fight was just longer, and better also. What Sasuke gets in like one hit, Gaara goes all crazy, and puts a shield, then Sasuke does Chidori. And Sasuke's uber speed showing when they were suppose to be the same speed wasn't even drawn the same way. Lee was hardly ever shown in panel, disappearing all around Gaara, and all that. Even before Lotus. Then he goes super saiyan with Lotus, and everybodies all like *GASP* again. Sasuke/Gaara fight only real moment was Chidori breaking through the Sand sphere.

Along with Gai and a few others somewhat admiring Sasuke's speed, while Lee & Gaara were feeling like the Sharingan's & Sasuke's bi@tches.

Sasuke was barely shown on panel as well. He's pretty much a blur around Gaara at a few points while using his speed. 😬

Meh, I'll admit it wasn't as good as the Lee/Gaara fight. At least not until Chidori was used. 😛

That one was just a prelude to Naruto's fight with Gaara, after all.

😛 As long as you also admit Gates opening > Chidori we're still cool. 😆

Only when Gai is opening the Gates. 313

Also, Raikiri/Kirin > Gates. 😛

True. I wish we saw more of Shukaku in the fight.

While I'm sure it's penetration power is unrivaled (I wonder if it could get though Raikage's armor where Sasuke's chidori basically failed? If it could really get through any defense that'd explain it's rank well), Raikiri is still the least impressive-looking S-class jutsu we've seen 🙂

Though in it's favor, it's also the only one that can be double-cast, one in each hand, I think.

Seeing as Sasuke's Chidori was able to get through the shroud somewhat (Sasuke does manage to get his finger-tips to penetrate Raikage), I think Raikiri would be able to get through Raikage's Raiton shroud.

Though I don't think Chidori or Raikiri would be able to get through Gaara's Ultimate Shield Wall.

Depending on what Gai does in his fight with Kisame, I might change it to Kirin > Gates > Raikiri. 😛

It probably depends on thickness- I bet it could get through fairly far, but it's reach is limited to a bit beyond Kakashi's arm.

I don't see why Raikiri is thought to be so much stronger than Chidori, even if it was so pre-timeskip, Sasuke has trained with chidori for three years, and I would highly doubt if he isn't as proficient with it as Kakashi is now. When Deidara and Raikage fought him, neither one could tell the difference between Sasuke's move and Kakashi's.

I don't think Deidara or Raikage has seen raikiri, or at least not both techniques to note the contrast.

And the difference is, both improved chidori but in different ways. Sasuke learned to shape it, use chidori current, chidori spear, chidori senbon, etc.. While raikiri on the other hand is simply an even more focused and powerful version of the chidori that has the chidori's main features, that is extreme penetration, in even greater amounts.

Of note, none of Sasuke's chidori variants are considered S-class jutsu, and raikiri is, which says something of it's power.

Sasuke seems more flexible with chidori than Kakashi, so it's fair to say they're two different forms of mastery suited to their own particular styles.

That's right. 313

In fact, I said "SSJ2" because he had the electricity sparks.

That was pretty lame, imo.

I mean, he's the ****in' Naruto. Well, I guess if he were in Sage Mode, he wouldn't have broken his ankle.

it was a way to get the powerful guys out of the fight in order for gai to fight mano a mano.

naruto almost oneshotted kisame, he had to go

To be fair, he almost one-shotted Kisame while he was in something of a precarious position.

Gai with Gates open > Raikage with SSJ2 Shroud 131

Pretty much what Q said.

Also, Kakashi pours a lot more chakra into his version and so it requires more control. It might have quite a build-up, I think. Sasuke can use Chidori and its variants almost instantaneously.

I think Sasuke's Chidori, in of itself, has not changed from Pre-TS to Post-TS. All that has changed is that he has come up with a variety of uses for Chidori via Shape Manipulation, and that his limit for Chidori has been increased to an indefinite amount.

Ranks typically indicate the difficulty of the techniques, rather than their power. More often than not though, an S-rank technique is very powerful.

Meh, Morning Peacock is rather powerful, but it's in the same rank as a technique like Rasengan & Reverse Lotus, two techniques which I do not think are as powerful as Morning Peacock.
