aside from sacrificing his arm cause well.... fire tends to spread, raikage was fine. the fire didn't even make him register it as painful

sasuke did adhear to his quota of at least 3 certain death's (but gets saved last millisecond) per fight though biscuits

juugo and suigetsu both helped sasuke escape certain doom, and since karin didn't step in, kishi did

Only reason Kishi had to step in was to save one of the most awesome characters in Naruto-verse from losing his ass and leg to the Black Flames.

Probably, yea.

I also note he times his breaks to coincided with actions taken by other major manga- do his One-Shot when One Piece returns, take a break when Bleach starts a plot arc, etc..

I don't know why he's worried about Bleach. It sucks immensely compared to Naruto right now.

Has anyone read that one-shot? Only got to a few pages, jump a few and... 😐

Couldnt attach myself to it. Maybe cos its the sports-manga.

I read it. It was ok but didn't wow me.

Didn't 'wow' me either, and the ending was predictable, but I still liked it. I actually wished it could have been an actual manga, but could be hard to make a manga about baseball.

Haha, good point. Bleach needs a really good arc to recover right now. I miss the epicness and feel of the manga right until the Soul Society arc ended.
