edo kage summons galore (fourth kazakage/father of gaara, fourth raikage, second mizukage, and second tsuchikage), plus the raikage has the team that took down the second hokage show up.....and they are sensing for him (he somehow might have been summoned, meaning kabuto is not limited by the dead demon seal....)

these guys raikage's with that killed tobirama seem baddass.

tsunade is aware of dan's resurrection. the hyuuga clan is also showing up

black setsu shows up at the daimyo's (feudal lord) palace, dude must be on an assassination mission.

a new bloodline limit type thing is mentioned called kekkei tota, and some of the resurrected kage have it including onoki the third tsuchikage.

tsuchikage is going to fight his predecessor the second tsuchikage who also shares a kekkei tota

if this is truth, kishi will be using each page to their fullest potential

I like how this chapter can be summed up very easily:

I'm Shikaku Nara and I'm gonna come up with a plan than involves the entire army except Kakashi and Division 3, because Kakashi is a stuck up prick and I hate him.

Few things of note:

Madara is playing smart going after the Daimyo like that. Surely the SA has set up defenses for them but probably not gonna spot Zetsu.

The first Hokage does get props because he not only founded his village, but started the whole village system and made the 'peace of the biju'.

I'd say they're simply keeping one division open to respond to whatever else the enemy does 🙂 Let D3 fight the swordsmen then worry about the enemy's next move.

Where Terumi is remains a question in my mind here. She's not at the council.

Seem to me they're jumping the gun a bit on calling him unbeatable though, considering he died in one on one battle

It's pretty solid, if Mu's force can be held off.

Hm, thoughts; Iwa and Kiri are rather far from each other, making a rivalry between them odd, yet the two Kage were personal enemies. They also seem to be the villages with the most kekkei genkai, who's kage have special forms of kekkei and who show up more often (Sand and Cloud each have a few but less than those two; Konoha pretty much only has eye jutsu but they're awesome).

Perhaps they had a conflict specifically over them back in the 2nd Kage days (so probably First Ninja World War), which Iwa more-or-less won and caused Kirigakura's dislike of them.

Nah. Shikaku knows that Kakashi is pissed off. The only reason he's not using Kakashi is because Shikaku wants some glory himself. Otherwise, Kakashi would solo the entirety of Madara's force. awesome

The enemy has little need of defense, most of their operations can be packed up and moved.

I think the nature of the forces tends to put the Alliance in a more defensive position.

well, the enemy doesn't exactly need defense since they have all those Zetsus. as long as those things latch onto someone, they will just heal from the chakra they're sucking out. with the addition of Kakuzu now, the forces have some more variety to the attacks although that's assuming he gets his hearts back.

and yeah, this coupled with other things is what's making the Alliance so defensive.

Intel-wise, Madara has more than vice-versa too. The Alliance only learned some of their intel very shortly before large scale combat operations begam.

One final thing; consider the network of sensors they have set up. It both ties them to a stationary HQ location, and gives them fantastic ability to react to even hidden enemies like the Zetsu.

Did he do that using only his ninjutsu and strength or did he have like a thousand people helping him? mmm Also, what were the circumstances involved in those?

Founding the village had help, but controlling the biju and using them as balancers of the peace relied on his personal power.

im under the assumption that the difference between mei's combining of the three elements she has gives her two kekkei genki, whereas the ability to fuse all three is a genkei tota

Wow! out of all of these top kage shown, Harishima still manages to be sort of superior. I thought Gaara would be happy to beat up his dad.

Kabuto does realize that instead of going through a whole ninja war thing, he could have the Nagato zombie just CT sizeable portions of the SA right?

Even though Nagato was kind of lame, you have to admit the Rinnegan kind of dwarfs all of these bloodline limit combos that Kishimoto's been creating.
