He's from Waterfall, which is not super-near cloud, but not super-far either, travel between the two to countries in between and thus reasons to clash should be relatively common.

I think he was a missing nin by the point they did their biggest stuff, so that might extend his range of motion too.

That and during the time he may have been involved in the 1st Ninja World War. Maybe he engaged the Kinkaku force at one point?

Quite possibly, either as a loyal ninja or as a missing nin for hire.

Considering what we learned about them being traitors, I'm beginning to think the Kinkaku force was the force assembled to take them down rather than a force lead by the brothers.

Seems odd to name the squad after the people they're hunting. Maybe they were a part of it before the coup and then killed or became missing ninja?

Possibly. Though it'd seem odd to keep the name in that case.

It's Kumo. They're already odd. 😛

New chapters out.

Confused the **** outta me.

What's up? I had no problems with this chapter. However, I've had tons of problems with previous chapters. You explained the fight between the Cloud nin and Naruto, for me, so I'll help you with this one. Which part or parts were a mess?

Am I the only person who went "Daww" at what A said?

Yeah, I was like. cry Raikage loves his peeps. cry

Those 4 legendary soul weapons are worse then the bad 4/7 mist swordsman swords.

Make soul dangle out | Cut dangling soul | Make person say a word or wait | You win a soul..... I'm betting Oro could do something like this in one move 😐 worst soul suck method ive herd of in a while.

The Fan is okay. I forgive the sword because I like the design even though its ability is worthless without the rope and gourd.

I like a few of the Mist swords. >_>

How did the black guy get out of not being sucked into the gourd? I seemed to have missed that bit.

Samahada, Hiramekarei and Kiba yes. The rest can be made by any ninja-blacksmith save for Zabuza's, but if your sword gets snapped in half in a fight theres a large chance that you wont be living long enough to reform it.

Unless you can still win and then bath it. Besides, that was clearly something last minute put in so Zabuza could reform his sword.

The force was compromised of bounty hunters irrc. Bounty hunters wouldn't exactly have a good reputation. The Raikage also states that they were swallowed by the Fox when Kumogakure wanted to capture it, so I'm guessing they were a part of the force at one point at the very least.
Even if they weren't a part of the force, it isn't that odd. We had a Sasuke retrieval squad after all.

i hate the two bothers now. they were badass with their mouths shut, now they just seem to be an updated version of those filler retards from part one.

I think there's a tad bit of difference between a squad meant to retrieve someone and a bounty hunter squad. 😛

Same difference. 😛

Srsly though, the difference isn't that great. Plus the duo are revered in their own way, to the point that Darui felt bad about attacking them.

To answer a bit better, he said "dull" and "sorry" almost the same exact number of times with "dull" being said only a couple of more times.

When he was being sucked up into the gourd, he said "sorry" several times to all the people he cared about and that tipped the balance in favor of "sorry" instead of "dull", nulling the current "trip" to the gourd.

idiotic writing imo... I mean seriously, what are the odds of that happening? For that matter, i'd wager their real #1 word would be more like "it" or "the" or some other real common language part.

HA!

I my thoughts as I was reading about the word thing for the first time.

I was like, "honorific and article adjectives (for example, "el" in Spanish, "the" in English, "das" in German, and so forth. Japanese does not fall prey to silly article adjectives...which is why poorly speaking Japanese people say stuff like "We ride car to store" instead of "We ride the car to the store."😉 would take a crap all over this idea of "the most spoken word."

Additionally, it would require the weapon to be intelligent or sentient in order to pick out certain words and leave off things like honorifics. It would also have to speak language in order to pick out words. It would also have to "magically" know ever single word a person has spoken.

Yes, it's quite stupid. But harmless enough. And it's not like the sword couldn't be magical. I mean, looked who used it. 😛

Yea, I'm pretty sure magic items like this tend to go for the first "real" word, noun, verb, adverb, etc., and leaves out the common connecters.

Honorifics are adjustments to other words, so they should definitely be safe.
