I know Kishimoto's editor does like to keep things moving. I would've preferred more combat too.

Are they skipping Gaara's fight too?

That mountain sandwich thing has gotta be one of the strongest ranged moves around.

Casualties doesn't necessarily mean dead.

And keep in mind there was a *lot* of mook vs Zetsu action, and probably Edo Tensei fights we haven't seen.

There was so many Zetsus that Neji was having serious trouble not getting grabbed. Imagine how well the no-names in that sector did.

Well that's my problem. This "world war" is going to have nobody but mooks dying... yeah, that sure is realistic. I guess that's why none of the main characters in "All Quiet on the Western Front" died. Oh wait.

This war happened a little too fast IMO. At least it wasn't one-sided like "That" war. Chouji lost his butterfly wings and that mountain jutsu wasn't really impressive to me.

I kind of feel jipped now that I can't see Kakashi's and Gaara's fights. This also stresses that Kabotomaru shouldn't give Pein and Itachi their free will

P.S: did A just order Tsunade http://manga.bleachexile.com/naruto-chapter-537-page-6.html

He's just being normal yelling A, not an official order if thats what you mean.

Btw how was that mountain jutsu not impressive? The sheer size and power it'd have (not to mention how fast he brought it up) is a high showing compared to other moves.

Samui got sealed, she's not a mook. And I suspect things are going to go worse on day 2 (or night 1).

That's not what I meant, I saw it as A yelling + Tsunade not arguing= order! Mostly because Tsunade didn't show more resistance other than showing that he had a tad bad idea.

I just rewatched Onoki use his atom crushing jutsu on Sasuke at the Kage Sumit in the anime. A variety of impressive jutsu are uninterresting to me right now.

I think a lot of the problem with Madara moving so quickly is due to our concept of war. When I think of war, I think of strategist and strong warriors on both sides, using impressive maneuvers to capture targets, disrupt supply channels, all that jazz.

This war is simply not designed like that and it is entirely due to Madara's forces. There are virtually no differences in the soldiers on his side. Of his main forces anyway. And they are basically fodder enemies though they don't have to be, which is the sad thing. 🙁

OK, almost no one.

One serious problem his forces have as a result of that is they all have the same powers. So even if each Zetsu is effectively chunin strength, the longer the fight goes on the more everyone knows their tricks, attack patterns, etc., very critical stuff for ninja.

The Zombies mix things up a lot to make the issue a lot harder, but that does impact their effectiveness and give Madara a reason to rush it.

I know. I also know a way around that. The Zetsu can apparently mimic anyone, even weapons. Holy crap, that could lead to some awesome subterfuge. I'd love it if they captured a unit and impersonated it.

Kabuto himself is a wild card. Madara can't trust him so I suppose he would need to hurry.

You mean, the clone jutsu used to fake Kisame's death? I'd be surprised if the copies could use that on their own, personally. Less chakra and, I'd guess by the looks of it, intelligence, in them.

Main Zetsu bodies can probably do the jutsu using them as material, but that'd probably be a suboptimal use of main Zetsu.

But there didn't have to be is the sad thing. Obviously they can't be as good as the normal Zetsu but at least give them something that makes them a more credible threat. Right now they really don't have that.

Hmm...I wonder how Madara plans to seal Kin/Gin so quickly. Did he get the rings?

I have the feeling that Kabuto will end up being the final villain. The way this last chapter played out, seems like it might be setting up for Madara to die soon.

I don't know, Kabuto just doesn't seem like endgame material to me. I can see an incomplete 10-tailed best running around.

TheAuraAngel: The Akatsuki rings? what do they have to do with anything right now? Unless there's another set of rings I overlooked.

En mass I'd say they certainly are.

Samui is a mook. Having a name doesn't make you not a mook. That makes you a red shirt, AKA a mook.

Would genuinely hate that.

If it is not Madara, I would like for it to be Sasuke. awesome

They seemed important for the sealing and yet Madara plans to seal Kin and Gin quickly without them.

I'm actually wondering if we'll see them again.

This is just a random thought would madara be able to die if he was caught in a shadow manupliation and yes the user will die to but will he be able to do he trasnportation too?

Well, my other theory is that Orochimaru has taken over already, and is just impersonating Kabuto.
