Double Lariat is pretty over the top. Two of the strongest ninja in the series corner an opponent. What do they do? Chop his head off in the most awesome way possible. Bonus points considering this is Kumo's signature move.

The "summon giant ass toad to crush the whole playing field" move is much cooler than both of them and is a move I'd rate as an 8 as well.

There's no way that something so "small" as the DL could compare to the giant ass toad summon. Both are insta wins...but one of the literally just defeats everyone at the drop of a hat....or giant toad.

Double Lariat's hardly viable anymore. I mean, Bee is so freaking overpowered now, that in base mode, he can beat a V2 Shroud A in a Lariat contest. Bee would have to lower his power considerably, and A would have to be at his most powerful, to have the maneuver even work.

Plus this was 3000 YoP we were discussing, used by Kakashi, who is just bawss, Gai who is bawss enough to use his Nice Guy smile while flashing, & Lee.

I just use them for the heck of it most times. If I could, I wouldn't use them at all, but some people would not be able to determine the intentions of my post. It has become a habit now.

I never said DL wasn't over-the-top and ossum. All of what you said is why I also think it is awesome.

On the other hand, 1000 Years of Death has a ninja simply sending their fingers up a ninja's ass after deceiving them, which sends them flying further than Tsunade could toss them. Bonus points considering that this is Konoha's signature move, and a super-secret one at that.
Then there's 3000 Years of Pain that debuted in a series filled to the brim with Awesome, was able to beat someone that 1000 Years of Pain failed against, and broke metal plates created specifically to counter Kakashi's father, who was stronger than the Sannin. 313

Itachi using Talk no Jutsu against Naruto. Lulzy.
His Susano'o now has 6 fingers too, like Sasuke's. Never noticed that in the last chapter.
Also, he destroyed Shisui's eye & that Crow casually. Prolly for the best, but still, should have left it with Naruto. Oh well, at least that easy path of mind-rape victory is out for Naruto.
Kabuto's been pushed to the point where he has to use his best tech. Makes sense, as his most powerful asset was just taken out by his second most powerful asset, who is now a free wild-card. Tis a pity that it seems like Itachi is now going to be taken out, by Kabuto no less.

Mizukage is awesome. His Clam's powerful too.
Now that Naruto is on the same battlefield, things might change. Still, you'd think that Muu would be able to sense him trying to attack from behind.

gaping plot hole re-confirmed in the chapter.

itachi could have easily told sasuke the same thing he told naruto this chapter thus preventing a mini-madara from developing. sasuke's entire character was a kid on a mission of vengeance, and all the power he attained was to kill those he felt responsible. itachi could have cut that off, and the first time they spoke since the uchiha clan massacre he egged him on with one sentence (though back then he wanted sasuke to get stronger to stay alive, only use was blocking 90% of oro's body swap). oh "sasuke wouldn't listen to him" you say? add shisui's eye, only makes it more concrete that he could have changed his mind on a whim, he already got him with a tsukiyomi.

itachi DID phuck up; he made sasuke into what he is, and he's aware of it

Read the first page as "Farewell, señor pupil" and pondering why Nagato went Spanish on us :V

The "...like Madara" line was interesting. Clam scene was pretty lulzy :3

I'm conflicted about Itachi's decision. Yes, Kabuto is a bigger threat than Sasuke and yes, if Itachi has a plan, he should certainly take care of him. And obviously he can't take Naruto and Bee with him when he does it.

However, he doesn't plan to do anything about Sasuke at all?

Gai is Kakashi's intense rival, and Lee follows Gai around a lot. So the odds of 3000 YoP happening are three times as high as DL working. 😛
