Though, I'd say she could find the Clam. Just not beat Jokey Boy.

Well...really though..other than special ninjutsu absorbers...who COULD beat Jokey Boy?

I don't know of any "oil" dispersing attacks.

I'd say the Raikage's have a decent chance. They can dodge the attacks and could probably deal with the clone(if it's killable?). Anyone really fast stands a half way decent chance.

I can see how he tied with Mu.

Well Onoki said to aim for the actual Mizukage instead of the clone. I could see the Raikage taking this path to trying to beat him. But in all honesty couldn't Mizukage just shoot someone if said event happened.

So.....Gaara finally relies on convinience to win a fight. I'm getting tired of him using his mom as a shiled though and the Gold Dust power is still stupid.

Well.....Mu has main character excuse. Mizukage doesn't.

I want Gaara to learn the magnetic tech thing. It is probably a KG...but his dad...had it. KG are genetic.

I just want Gaara to stay up there with the likes of Naruto. It makes for a ... I don't know. What is it that I'm trying to say? I'm having a hard time using words, at the moment.

Is the clone just not breakable or what?

I think it is breakable, by techs. No point breaking it when it is filled with water vapour though, since it'll explode. Breaking it when it is filled with water should work though.

Plus I wonder if Fire techs would work. Might just speed up the explosion process though.

There's no 'probably'. It is a KG. Also, Temari & Kankuro didn't get it. Would be awesome if they did though.

Rivalry?

I don't see why they couldn't "emulate" magnetic nature by using lightning and wind.

It obviously would not be as strong but it could be an imitation.

Indeed. But if it gets broken, it's kind of pointless. Hard to catch of course and it doesn't appear to take long to get heated up, but still.

I was thinking the same thing. A fire opponent would be screwed against Jokey Boy.

I'm actually starting to dig the name. 😆

Edit: Dude, friendly competition? 😮

Gaara is actually suing it up in my opinion.

Maybe a fire user would be the way to go?

And, as much as we don't like him, 4rd Kazekage could handle Jokey Boy 🙂 Heck, come to think of it, he could detect the clam too... despite being weak for a Kage, he might be able to beat 2nd Mizukage entirely on his own.

Lesse, Jiraiya could win against 2nd Mizukage if he got a Toad Song Genjutsu off.

Wouldn't that just cause the explosion to go off early? If I had to guess, Earth would be preferable.

He does not know how Jokey Boy or the Clam works. Sure, he could find the Clam, but not before Kyoka could put a bullet through his brain. 😛

Jiraiya can beat most people that way though. 🙂

I've not kept up with Naruto recently since it has become pretty darn horrible. But I read this week's chapter as I waited for Bleach. But back to Naruto.

The water-oil clone didn't make much sense. It's a body made out of water surrounded by a thin film of oil. By moving the clone stores thermal energy through friction in the water which vaporizes. Now at a certain point this oil-bubble bursts, or the Mizukage makes it burst and so the stabilizing in the difference in pressure creates an implosion which then forms a shock-wave and judging by the size of the clone we're talking some serious pressure differences--keep in mind that regular water vapor under regular pressure occupies ten times the space of liquid water. I may so some calculations on that later down the road, but either way. The problem I have with this is, oil isn't as firm and elastic as it's portrayed and more importantly doesn't the different substances in raw oil vaporize at different temperatures, leaving only the sluggish chemicals with high boiling points. This makes absolutely no sense.

Holy crap, an author messed up on his science! Never seen that. Though how one can prefer Bleach over Naruto is also beyond me so maybe the world is just looney?

Bleach is more dynamic than Naruto and it feels more creative. I've also grown to like Tite Kubo's art style a lot.

Neither Bleach nor Naruto are particularly good in any way shape of form, but I can still stomach reading Naruto, if barely. I stopped reading when Gin lied about his Bankai. "Remember how just a few weeks ago I said that my Bankai was the ability extend my sword at 500 times the speed of sound? Psych! It's not anywhere near that fast, but it's a poison sword oooooooooooooooo!" It became pretty clear that Kubo had no idea what he was writing week to week and the dude was winging it, which is insulting to my intelligence. I wish Bleach would end and Kubo would bring Zombie Powder back.

Although it pisses me off to no end iin Naruto that a 13 year old Kakashi was so fast that he need the Sharingan to be able to operate at that speed because his eyes couldn't process the data. And yet they keep introducing faster and faster characters with no explanation whatsoever.

Maybe, it depends on how quickly he can figure things out (and if he's using proper gold protection against being shot in the head).

I'm not saying it's a sure thing... but he definitely has the tools at his disposal.

Eh, fast characters shouldn't have a problem. Deidara could also out-explode the thing.

Thing is, where does the Oil surrounding it go? If the Oil is dispersed into the atmosphere, and then comes back when JB cools down, burning up the layer of oil would really stop it from reforming.

Yep, even if it's a mistranslation, Jokey Boy will be the tech's name.

chapter was meh

Bleach is a chaotic, but that's also part of its charm. I'm also quite psyched about how Soul Society looks now, what happen to Grimmjow, Gin, Urahara, Yuroichi and the Visored ones after the war? Naruto doesn't have that. We know pretty much all there is to know about what's happening in the war right now and there are only a handful battles before the resolution of the manga. The only secret in Naruto I can think of is: "Who was in Kabuto's final coffin?"

Half of the captains haven't yet to reveal their bankai, Tite Kubo has a lot to work with. That's why it's interesting.

Does he have auto defense? 😮

Indeed. But that isn't always the case. The shinobi he fought had the tools to find the clam, if they had merely calmed down and tried to find it. They failed. 😛

Indeed, speedsters shouldn't be having too difficult a problem. And it would depend on the explosion. C3 and C4 could maybe take it out, but the others would be weaker. Gaara's sand is also faster than those bombs. 😛

I dunno.

He does have active defense. Also he can stay up hovering or similar.

They sucked 🙂 And I don't think they really had a good method of finding the clam.

4th Kaze's method is much better, and the one that did succeed in doing so.

Dynamic? Nah. No changes occur that really shake up the status quo, except for the obvious villain turning out to actually be a villain, apparently to the surprise of all but me. As far as creative....initially, I'd have agreed with you. Now, it's simply bogged down with Shinigami doing cool things against the saps they're fighting. The abilities might be creative but that is pretty much it.

Gin is dead, Grimmjow was forgotten and should be considered dead, Urahara is still banished I guess but on good terms with them, Yoruichi probably didn't take Squad 2 back, and the Visord are probably back where they belong. As for the secrets of Naruto, I'm not exactly sure what you want to here about. Bleach just came out of a time skip so yeah, it will be interesting to see where they all are. But Naruto did the same, and better. So I dunno.

The final battle against Urahara and crew will be when we see the bankai of everyone. Still, no good guy will die.

Where? I don't remember it. And wouldn't that just make him an easy target?

True. But they knew more about the Clam than he did and Kyoka was truly trying not to win.

Indeed. But, since it was Mizukage's idea for Gaara to use his sand like that, I can't see it helping much. And then there is the matter of Jokey Boy. Which I don't think he could beat. 😛
