I find it ironic that Onoki was the one who went to the Summit with young uns. Gaara did too but they were his siblings. Everyone else went with people that made sense.
I got the impression that Akatsuchi is his personal guard/carrier most of the time. And Kurotsuchi's a KG user, a potential future kage and his granddaughter, so the experience is worthwhile.

Umm...I'd personally bump Fu down but not Torune. Torune has a really haxxed ability. It is almost a touch of death scenario. Any taijutsu based fighter would be thoroughly screwed against him. And since a lot of the higher rank ninja do like to use taijutsu, it works in his favor more often than not.
He is but I don't know why. I hope Kurotsuchi becomes Tsuchikage. Heck, I hope she gets to show off a lot.
Hmm...now that the situation with the Kage has been settled, wonder where our attention will focus now? My guess is Itachi but I'd like to get back to the actual war personally.

Yep, the time he fought for his life and beat a weakened Oro much like Minato fought for his life and beat a weakened Madara. You count Minato temporarily halting Madara's plans as a defeat for Madara, so I'll count Sasuke temporarily stopping Orochimaru's plans and sealing him as a defeat for Orochimaru.

It's a bit different than outright pwning Oro. He didn't. He had to work for his victory and he ended up not winning that fight, afterall: Oro still "embedded" into Sasuke. 🙂

Except he was thoroughly defeated. With the first, he wasn't technically defeated because he got exactly what he wanted from the first: his body (lol)
So, technically, Minato has the better victory over Madara:
Minato:
Disadvantage: he didn't have a haxor eye that could take the Kyuubi from Madara.
Advantage: Madara had a lot less chakra than he used to.
Disadvantage: He had to protect the village, his wife, his son, and fight the Kyuubi.
Outcome: Minato won against Madara and Madara was delayed in his plans for years.
Hashish:
Advantage: He only had to protect the village.
Advantage: He coud not only take control of the Kyuubi, his ability to control the Kyuubi was more powerful than Madara's.
Disadvantage: Madara had his full chakra power.
Outcome: Madara won against Hashish (he got some of his flesh, which was his goal) and Madara continued with his plans.

You could do that, but you'd be wrong: Sasuke lost and Oro knew that his (Sasuke's) efforts were a waste the whole time.

Went with databook on that one. Neji improved 1.0 ninjutsu, 1.0 taijutsu, .5 intelligence, 1 speed, and .5 stamina between the two. 4.0 total.
So he didn't change his jutsu load, but he did stat-up across the board. And he did show a variety of new minor tricks (precise cutting of threads, using chakra projection to cover his blindspot), and more smarts and resolve during the fight.
