Sure, the beast was put in later...but those things were given to him even more so than the sue-y-ish eyes called the sharingan.
He had the auto-shield from the start, but I'd think he'd have to learn more fine control and that he probably consciously learned many of the sand techniques.

Zetsu's the one person Tobi seems to be honest with, but I suppose Tobi has his own version of the plan in mind.Anyway, with the way things are set-up, Madara's likely not going to be around for much longer.
Though Madara's Fire Techniques are uber enough that they need FTG

From the looks of it, the technique disoriented the Third (that, or he was stoned), yet A was fine when he appeared on the battlefield.

Maybe A use Raiton armor while being teleported or is just used to moving at high speeds? I don't know maybe a case of PIS. Also I find it hard to believe both Gaara and Onoki can still fight...especially Gaara since he's fought like three Kage opponents prior to this.

Probably. Then again, A did look a little tired and worn after the porting.
As it stands, A should be the most ready to battle out of all of them.

Seriously though, I want Madara to pwn the Kages on his own, but I also want the old Kages to come back and have a Kage Battle Royale. Kishi should have saved up the old Kages for this, instead of Madara.
Maybe A's just gotten tougher than last time it was tried.
One thing I want to note: They both came up with a way to get Tsunade and A in the field, and explained why they didn't use it before in one go (number of ninja there who could survive it: Just those two, and even then it's risky).
On the arm thing: Either Tsunade regenerated it for him, or Kishimoto forgot it was missing ^^

Meh...Still makes more sense than the way Mei got there. Seriously they knew FTG this whole time and decided just now to use it? It' doesn't even make sense for Minato to have a guard in light of the dude's achievements.
I also noticed that Tsunade stole Gai's Dynamic Entry. Wonder if they ever picked up the arm left at the Summit and decided to reattach it to A 😄
Edit: Q99 I didn't know Tsunade could be that forgiving considering A tried to have Naruto killed a few way's back. Kishi probably forgot or maybe Tsunade likes him 😄

It is limited when they use it. They need the markings, and they all need to be in close contact with each other.

That, and/or Mabui doesn't know how to gauge durability. Tsunade wasn't ripped to shreds like Mabui thought she would be.

Every Kage, no matter how strong, will have a guard, for a few reasons.
One, watching their back, making sure they aren't surprised or attacked while they're resting/asleep, and so on.
Two, handing stuff while the Kage's busy. Sometimes you'll have an objective and an S-class opponent, or civilians you want cleared, or what have you. They can grab the briefcase, clear the civilians, engage the S-class foe's own backup, get the VIPs to safety, and so on, while the Kage deals with the real threat. Or just do minor tasks while the Kage saves chakra for the big one, like if mooks attack on the way to clash with a Biju, you don't really need to have Minato lift a finger rather than let Genma do it.
Three, ceremony/appearance.
