1. You're assuming Sasuke knew what he'd be fighting. He didn't. Stop.

2. The scroll had a reaction when Sasuke disappeared, meaning yes Sasuke did instruct him to do the summoning once the snake vanished. Was teh plan.

3. This is a contingency plan, a back up plan. It makes perfect sense as Sasuke doesn't know how powerful Akatsuki are and if he needs to make a quick get away, he needs a way to return to Hebi.

Well, I don't see Sage Mode being PIS as much as the mass shadow clone jutsu being PIS.

It took Naruto a week or two (we don't know how long it was...but it seems to have been a couple of weeks) and all it required was for Naruto to sit still. Maybe the PIS part is getting an ADHD character like Naruto to actually sit perfectly still? Regardless, it required lots of chakra control and it was pointed out that Naruto has poor chakra control. Is that the PIS portion?

Any halfway decent medical nin could master Sage Mode IF they had massive amounts of chakra. That's the problem with Sage Mode: requires you to sit still, requires a lot of natural chakra levels (to the point that almost all people would be excluded), and requires a high level of chakra control. So I can see that as being PIS. HOWEVER! He trained with Shadow clones to speed up the process. The time frame is not the problem, really. It's the fact that he got to sage levels (literally) of chakra control when he was known to have low levels.

I do not think it is PIS as much as it is "an established character trait for Naruto: he's a training genius once he understands how to do something." That's just a part of Naruto's character...just like talk no jutsu. That ALSO means that his genius can be ass-pulled to net a power up or victory for Naruto...which can be PIS in and of itself.

i don;t think sasuke knew what he was fighting, but he was no less prepared for just that, mind phucking ensues

We're robbing a bank. You tell me to take the car out back just in case you need to make a quit getaway. You go into the bank and see a bear in a tuxedo that says you owe him money and begins chasing you.

You telling me to have the car ready is perfectly logical in this case because you're preparing for something that might happen. That is what Sasuke did. Sure, he didn't know what would happen but based on the info presented, his backup plan makes sense.

But it would probably be the being ready to fight Deva Path right after going 8-tails. His body should have been shot to hell and back.

Hmm....come to think of it, Naruto hasn't really had a legit victory since Part 2 started. Sure you could count the 3rd Raikage but that's about it IMHO.

Hence why I think Minato hit the reset button on Naruto's stats.

to be fair he was the strongest person in the manga for a long ass time, i mean, all it took was hinata's "death" for him to go 6-tails, then soon after 8, but not many characters would see past 5 and tell the tale.
