Then there's Naruto living simply because Sasuke decided out of nowhere that he will not obtain the MS. Or Naruto & the rest of Team 7 living simply because Orochimaru wanted him to try and take out an Akatsuki member.

Naruto had a precendent, long before Sage Mode mastery, that he was a super genius for learning stuff he understood.

He mastered Rasengan in a week: it took Jiraiya a year or two to do that.

Also, Pa explained that Jiraiya never properly mastered it because he was impatient with it and never properly finished learning it.

I thought Sasuke did that to Reject Itachi and what he stood for? Meaning, it wasn't out of the kindness of his heart (for the most part) it was Sasuke rejecting Itachi's teachings because, at the time, he LOOOOAAATHED Itachi.

So it is PIS only if you do not comprehend the scene? Still wouldn't qualify as PIS to me, much like how Kushina randomly appearing just when Naruto was about to die is not PIS, even though it was at first. 😛

Indeed. Because it looked like something stupid the plot pulled to save Sasuke. It isn't. Kushina thing is less of one since Minato does seem like the type to do what he did.

It still was at the time it was introduced, until we got the entire story.

Oh, and the crow of course would have been PIS, but that was subverted since it was triggered early.

the only thing about the minato thing that made me scratch my head was how his chackra was able to allow him and his wife to talk to naruto as if they were living beings, not a pre-recorded message but an actual meeting with both parents just under a harsh time limit.

seemed like really intricate experiment considering the circumstances he was under at the time he initiated the uber-seal

Well chakra is essentially life force. The chakra left behind could've just acted in the fasion of the person it originated from.

Either that of Minato's prediction skills are better than Lelouch's.

Part of it is also probably Naruto's crazy stamina and stubbornness. He'll do more test-Rasengan in a day than even someone like Jiraiya'd do in a week. He could also take in more sage chakra and counteract it better.
