Sometimes, I feel left out and alienated because I don't look at pronz all day. I didn't even know what "futa" was until Nemebro told me about it a few years back. 🙁

The way they killed Naomi off was just stupid though, especially considering the author outright stated he made Naomi too clever, and had to just come up with some quick way to kill her off or she would pretty much have to find out it's Light. I think I had a rant about it sometime ago. Mainly due to the fact Naomi pretty easily gave Light her ID, which goes against Naomi's intelligence. As she was investigating a guy who could kill you off via looks and name, and you meet random suspicious guy on street, and you don't have a fake ID for whatever reason while investigating guy that kills people with name and face, and decide, "Okily dokily, have my ID : D"

The sub-plot should have ended like this

Naomi: Why are you checking your watch?
Light: Oh? Because....I am Kira.
Naomi: O:
*Nothing happens*
Light: 😐
Naomi: 😐
Light: 😐
Naomi: *Runs away*
Light:

Nah...Naomi would still have die for there to be a plot. Though it would've forced Light to make the eye deal with Ryuk less risk being exposed.

Maybe Sakumo made himself scare when he died kind of like Shinsu...which I'm suprised how Kabuto couldn't find his both yet was able to get remains for Deidera.

Probably yeah, but the author himself admitted (Albeit, I can't remember the source of it) that he had written Naomi to be too smart and that if he kept her alive, Light would be living on borrowed time.

Of course, the eye deal may have helped. Assuming Naomi didn't get to L first.

Yeah, I remember reading something like that, which is why the writer had to kill her off quickly instead of going through with his original plans for her. Since she had deduced that Kira could kill through methods other than a heart attack, she had to die.

Still, that part was epic, and Naomi held her own, even if she lost rather easily.

Light got her name by playing to her emotions. Considering her position and who he reminded her off, I can't say it was too big a stretch.

But yeah, saying "I am Kira" before she was killed...not the smartest move. Was what ended up killing him in the end.

Eh, not really. He was respected on the same level as the Sanin. Given the Sanin were younger, he probably wouldn't be S but A+ or S- sounds reasonable.
